I'm pleasantly surprised at Fyfe Dangerfield taking off so well. On MK's release schedule, he was down as releasing 'Faster Than The Setting Sun' last week. Has this release been cancelled now or something?

No. 'She's Always A Woman' is only selling because it's on a John Lewis advert. 'Faster Than The Setting Sun' flopped despite being top 30 in the airplay chart (assuming mainly from Radio 2?).

Thank God Pendulum don't look to be the highest new entry this week. It's just them trying to recreate 'Propane Nightmares' and imo failing to do so.

Hopefully Fyfe or Aggro Santos will be the highest (although I don't think Fyfe will rise too much more tbh =[ )...in a perfect world, Foals would be the highest, although it looks like that'll be impossible. I'm hoping they make top 40 at least!

Its a shame about Sophie. shes goin same way as the likes of Will Young i think.

16. She's Always a Woman - Fyfe Dangerfield

Aaah, the John Lewis advert music. This is actually a really nice. Great to see this track doing so well. Didn't actually realise this was the track until just listening now on YouTube.

17. Candy (Radio Edit) - Aggro Santos & Kimberly Wyatt

Urgh!!! -_- Whilst I like dance music, I personally think this is crap. I can't help but cringe at the rapper in the track. >_<

33. Watercolour - Pendulum (& #124)

'Propane Nightmares' was excellent and was a deserved top 10 hit in 2007. Would be excellent to see this track perform just as well in the UK charts. I suspect this will be top 20 anyways.

56. Yesterday - Toni Braxton

Interesting to see this song as high as #56 already. Her best single since 'He Wasn't Man Enough' but Toni will never beat 'Unbreak My Heart' imo. I do like the dance mix that they play on Dance Nation TV.

69. Kick A*s (We Are Young) - Mika & Redone

After seeing this shoot up to no. 4 on Ireland's iTunes, I thought this might've followed suit in the UK iTunes chart and already be inside the top 20. Alas it seems the UK are truly bored of Mika. Watch this song become a monster hit across Europe (well 'Rain' performed well in Europe and I think this is a better track).

102. In the Air (Axwell Edit) - TV Rock

It's quite disappointing this decent enough dance track is so low compared to that dirge at #17.

111. Bittersweet - Sophie Ellis-Bextor

I knew it'd flop hard. I just don't see this song taking off and might possibly peak around no. 80 before tailing off again. It's a really uninspired choice of comeback single. :dunno:

290. This Orient - Foals

Their first two singles made the UK top 40. It'd need a massive boost in sales to make an impact but this does have potential to give Foals their third top 40 hit.

All Night Long back  to #28 now.

That Candy track is truly abysmal. :puke: The lyrics are awful. Can't the OCC have two separate official charts - one for dance crap and chav music like Candy and NDubz and then another for actual decent inspired music. -_-

There really isn't much in the pop bars between #16 and #33 to be honest - so I think when combined with the EP sales and the radio edit at #123 Pendulum are easily ahead of Aggro Santos

I hope Pendulum don't do that much - terribly overrated band/group. This sounds like everything else they've ever released too, Aggro Santos may have cringey lyrics but I can't help but like it. :kink: Highest new entry please and Roll Deep for two weeks at #01 please. ^_^

I agree in the singles chart which is hardly surprising with no support from radio 1, which tends to have a knock on effect to the large commercial stations. Radio 1 are too busy a*** licking the newest thing. Once you've been around a few years your number is up. Sadly for Sophie she doesn't have Will's album record to help her keep her contract.

Its only available as an album track on a rush-released download-only deluxe version of his album

The album will be physically re-released on 17th May with the new tracks

WTF is Candy down to #31.

This happens every Sunday as iTunes re-adjusts. Nothing has fallen.
