Out of interest, has anyone heard the new Katy Perry single - California Gurls.

It's her answer to Jay-Z's Empire State of Mind. It's really cool. I'd say it's Katy at her best and a I Kissed A Girl 2.0. :wub:

Adam is really bouncing back really shocked but pleased hopefully Top 40 on Sunday.Alicia needs to climb it would be a shame if she did not go Top 10.Prof Green should have dropped like a stone by now.When is Alex on T4, I hope she does another live performance of ANL.She is singing ANL on Dutch X-factor.

There's no official sample. But it's been linked to 'TiK ToK'. Just a more poppy/less trashy sounding version. It's a Dr Luke production so that'd explain the similarities :P

Wasnt just the opinion on the song though was it if you read back through the comments that have been said, it is clearly 'hating' on JLS, and major reason would be is that they have been 10x more successful then alex.

I have nothing against Steve Wright his interview with Alex was great but I do find some of his song choices dull.Sweet Home Alabama, Eddie Cochrane, Neil Diamond.

 

I was being a lil sarcastic but those 2 artists and SHA are pretty brilliant.

 

Precisely. I'm not bitter that JLS have sold more albums than Alexandra cos let's face it, it doesn't reflect the quality. All it does is emphasise that JLS have a a huge loyal following who are willing to buy anything if it has the name 'JLS' attached to it.

 

And Lovestoned, it's really immature to bring up the Sugababes just because Steve highlighted the flaws in your 'argument'. I've realised you have done this an awful lot when someone disagrees with you. Grow up. <_<

Shame Pendulum fell although its great that their top 5 anyway, I dont mind that Candy song so much- I just want that bloody Usher song to go away!!! :angry: :angry:

 

Stereo Love should be huge next week if a fake version is that high, dont really get Ridin Solo, is it really that good, for it to be top 5 so quick, It not a touch on his other two and quite annoying

I think the top 10 is fantastic at the moment! I like all the songs (well, out of the ones I've heard, I haven't heard She's Always a Woman or Watercolour yet).

 

Infact, the highest ranking song that I don't really like is Need You Now, at #30!

Ahhh. Amazing for JASEERRRNNN DERRHHHHUULLLOOOOOO-AH! So glad 'Ridin' Solo' has taken off for him this fast. It'll be every this summer I believe. Probably this year's 'I Gotta Feeling'? :unsure:

 

Anyway going to see him live in August! Cannot wait!

Yeah, I don't think we're going to get any songs this year that can come anywhere close to I Gotta Feeling, in terms of popularity. Ridin' Solo should be a hit though.

 

And I like Whatcha Say! I never heard the song that it sampled before though, so it seemed all new and amazing to me! :wub:
