You should make it clear this is an album

I think it'll make about #7 and have a similar chart run to P!nk's Box Set.

For those who don't remember, that went like this:

7-8-17-27-39-63-67-82-80-79-76-95

No5 following current top4 albums! shes not a big album seller and the album isn't a new one so if sales pick up she could end up lower. I dont expect it to spend more than 2 weeks at top 10 (maximum) and another 2 at top 20...

#8 but it's GaGa so she could go all the way.

Plus there's nothing to stop it I don't think...

LOLZ. The Fame has sold over a million copies...and is the #1 album for this year so far...clearly not a big album seller at all is she?

No. The fact that The Fame needed over a year, the 1st (over 800k), 2nd, 15th and a further top 25 biggest hits of the year AND a big massive push and re-release to go over a million is embarrasing.

Jealous, much? :P

I think it's quite reasonable to suggest that her album should've sold more and faster than it has done. A Christmas re-release, mega hype and five mammoth singles and it's not sold two million in 16 months. It's hardly what you'd consider great, it's kind of the minumum you'd expect really...

Album sales are nowhere near as strong as they were five/six years ago. No wonder 'The Fame' or 'The Fame Monster' hasn't sold over 2 million copies by now.

On the other hand, I wonder how much each individual track has sold on iTunes - including those that trickle sell but never made the top 75. As long as there's cherry picking, then album sales will always be relatively low now.

Eg; Coldplay could rush release their new album next week and be lucky to sell 500k with sales thereafter plummeting but would probably still easily 1 million.

As regards to Lady GaGa, it'll be interesting to see how successful the second album will be. At the moment the record company is milking The Fame so badly.

embarassing? are you insane?

The Fame has sold millions worldwide and has done exceptionally in the UK! Its been around for months and months continously selling well and hittin #1 numerous times!!

No wonder they are milking the album, they are pushing it to sell as many as it can and there are great single choices from it. Anyone know worldwide sales?

Gaga is the most hyped act worldwide (followed by BEPs probably). After all the hype and success and 1+year ,the xf and the brits, the grammies, the videos and much more.... would sell 1.4mil max! With the rerelease will go higher but still Buble has sold same amount, so have BEPs, Jls over a million (and many more)... even though album sales have declined. For me she definitely is a single's seller! I really have nothing against her but it is a fact. This is still very high (beyond most new artists reach) but not proportional to no1 worldwide hype. Comparing her album sales with acts like Eminem, U2, RW or Coldplay is only flattering ;)

I wonder whether the remixed songs will receive any xtra airplay... It could push her singles even higher

The downplaying of her success is a bit ludicrous when she has the biggest selling album of this year, and the second biggest of last year (?). If anything it goes to show the state of the albums market if her sales are 'below par' (though they're not).

 HA, some of the comments in the topic are hilarious

She has sold 1.945.400 albums in the UK and over 10 million albums worldwide in just over a year, if Lady GaGa isn't an album seller then WHO THE FU*K IS!?!
