I suspected BGT. I wish they'd stop using that song. It has a deep emotional meaning with me meaning I can't actually listen to it.

 

Nonetheless, hopefully it'll be out quick enough like it did the last time they used it on BGT.

 

That's right, they've already used it twice in the series. I don't want to know how many more times they're planning to use it.

B.o.B is just suffering from the new phenomenon of slow-starting urban songs.

 

Jason Derülo, Chipmunk and Roll Deep were all also affected by this and they all still went top 3 (two of them #1)

You thought b.o.b was going to be in the top 10 at half 8 in the morning?

Most people wont even be up buying the song, it'll probably be at about 3/4pm it'll hit #1.

Currently at #87.

In a way it'd actually be nice if The Pretty Reckless got to #1 to offer a slight difference to the genres at #1 - every #1 this year has pretty much been either pop or hip-hop/R&B.

 

Make Me Wanna Die is hardly proper rock but it's much more rock than the 'rock-influenced' In My Head and Once.

It is good to see that Alexandra is doing great with this campaign, I think there will be another single released from it now. Shows what can happen when your album isn't filled with crap so you have to rush onto the next album [JLS].

On another note, the Eurovision compilation is out to buy tomorrow physically, what's the likelihood that it gets added to iTunes? Zero chance? Which would mean none of the songs would be able to chart this year on account of them not being available to buy anywhere :(

 

It'll prob be added in the next few weeks. Its been available on the Swedish itunes for a while but annoyingly several songs on there are album only, including Germany :( so I'd expect it to be download only here too.

Last year's was added the same week as it was out on physical. Have a look on Monday, albums don't normally get added on Sundays.

Its sold well over a million and has had 3 top 10 singles from it. That album is finished & rightly so, it was time to move on to the next album for JLS, alex on the other hand hasnt hit 600,000 yet so obviously they will try get it to highest figure possible. I doubt another single will be out from this album for her.

 

The pitbull version is doing very well to be at #50 and another at #6, top 5 could be possible now.

Hmmm i'm sure if JLS re-recorded one of their album tracks and released it as a single [which isn't currently on the album] alongside the album version they would get top 10 as well
