Damn can't believe both Lights & Kaci are flopping. They've been on the music channels alot from what i've seen Kaci the most. Suppose they needed other promotion angles like chat shows or something :( Fyfe top 5 however. Keep going, i really like his cover

...what?

I'm pretty sure nearly everyone thought it'd go top 10 at least

I'm not surprised it's as high as it is, I'll only be surprised if it gets to #1 on iTunes. I expect it'll get agonisingly close and then start falling away. Could just as easily go to iTunes #1 (not official #1 though)

Really? I'm a Gleek, but I can honestly say I didn't see TEOTH bettering the mash-ups or even 'Gives You Hell'. I did however think it'd go Top 20 and have maybe a 'Somebody To Love' kinda run, but it's annihilated it tbh and that to me is a massive shock. Really hope it can go all the way.

Having said all that though...

As if Total Eclipse Of The Heart is doing THAT good? Run Joey Run is far superior imo!
This. This. This.

Oh and did 'Don't Stop Believin'' peak at #2 on iTunes? Or was it number 3? I know it didn't peak at 1 on here though... Hopefully Fridays airing on Channel 4 will help it stick Top 10 :D

The massive success of Total Eclipse is partly due to low sales and partly for the same reason it's been so successful in Ireland and the USA.

What the second reason actually is I don't know.

DSB peaked at #2 on iTunes.

Once could be out of the top 20 after 4 weeks! And it hit ➊!

I am very suprised at this, her promotion has been good and R1 were going all out to support her.The next single is good so hopefully it does well.

But in Ireland and US, the Glee tracks always seem to go top 10 on iTunes. Over here only, what? 5 at most have hit the Top 10? Madonna week for example, 'Like A Prayer' reached number 1 in Ireland, got to number 16 here... that was far more hyped than TEOTH...

I've seldom seen either (though Kaci more), but radio completely ignored them too. I knew they'd struggle but hoped they could be surprise hits or something.

Im pretty sure it was number 2, as they didnt have physicals and it peaked at number 2 in the UK chart

Wow at glee, this will turn into their biggest hit since DSB, maybe not number 1, but top 5 now looks likely

I hope Fyfe can keep top 10 :(

I'm definitely not surprised at Total Eclipse Of The Heart doing so well. It's a massive, defining song which after almost 30 years the UK still seem to be obsessed with thanks to its still regular airplay, seminal video and use in adverts. I'm sure if Glee Cast covered some other massively well respected and popular song, like Mr Brightside, that would go top 5 on iTunes as well (*awaits this cover with interest :o*)

Glad Stereo Love is climbing finally, although still nowhere near high enough.

Thanks for that, is there anymore tv promo planned in the UK.Alex is off to Sweden and France this weekend.I do not think Alicia Keys will go Top 10 she seems to have stalled unless she is coming over to promote.

Alicia's tour starts in UK next weekend, so i'd say she might do some promo while she is there.

Ohhh Christina closing in on the top 10! :cheer:

Thats good to know I really like Christina hope she goes Top 10.Alicia always gets a big boost when she does promo her voice is the best.ANL better start climbing and soon.

They're covering 'Bad Romance' & 'Poker Face'... do you think they could go Top 5? I personally think 'Poker Face' will reach top 20 because it's only performed by two characters, however, I believe BR is one of those group performances Hmmm....
It looks like Glee will takeover Candy :snif: :nocheer: And I was hoping Candy will hit #1.
