May 12, 201015 yr Surprising that they still haven't playlisted Alex or Christina. I actually expected them to playlist Scissor Sisters this week so hope they dont snub them. Also hope they don't ignore Kylie (can't see them doing so but you never know). I actually Katy could be heading for a UK #1 with California gurls. Funnily enough"September Gurls" is the famous 1970s Power Pop anthem by Big Star (whose Alex Chilton died very recently); this song was covered in 1986 on the Bangles "Different Light" UK#2 album. May 12, 201015 yr Ridin solo a list :D How is ellie goulding on a list when the song is clearly flopping? They seem to support artists a lot on the previous single released rather then the artist/current song they are actually playing :S I dont listen to radio1 anyway, so dull. They don't usually remove singles before their official release date, if it really does flop then yes, it'll probably be removed soon after. I'm glad to see they still support Robyn, I was a bit doubtful after that 'The Girl And The Robot' fiasco.

She just was the featuring artist.

May 12, 201015 yr Yeah who gives a damn about a dullard radio station that think Fearne Cotton, Chris Moyles and Reggie Yates are amongst the best radio DJs in the country? Countless tracks have proven in the past fortnight alone that you don't need Radio 1. I've always thought the station was a load of $h!t but then I just avoid radio like the plague. I have iTunes and it doesn't have their horrid ranting in between trackie goodness.

'September Gurls' is a song by 70s indie favourites Big Star. Whoever typed that up into Radio 1 must be a fan and typed the wrong song by mistake.
