If you mean the football song he's releasing I doubt it very much, from what I know a football song hasn't been on a NOW CD since NOW 40

None have been #1 since 1998 though have they? :o

I still think they wont include it, the albums date badly already - they don't want to make it worst than it already is. 75 has already aged badly thanks to Jedward and Joe McEldry

To be fair on the Now compiler(s), 2010 has been terrible in terms of 'classic' singles. Maybe only Empire State Of Mind Part II (and I guess Don't Stop Believin' has built on its classic status in the UK) from this year so far will be remembered in ten years from now. Everything else has been 'of the time' and won't be played on radio six months from now, let alone ten years. Last year we had loads of 'classics' - all of the GaGa singles (apart from Love Game), The Fear, I Gotta Feeling, Fight For This Love etc...

It's nice if there's 2 or 3 future classics on each Now compilation but if the material isn't there, he has to play around with the flash in the pan hit singles sadly :( At least its representative of that 3/4 month block of time.

Is that official or a prediction?

Prediction. Sorry i forgot to write that. Although i reckon not all those tracks will get on. You know what Now are like. They include old songs lol

Definately a prediction, I highly doubt Enrique will have a hit with 'I Like It', let alone it be placed in such a prime track number!

I think enrique could have a hit. Top 10 i think.

As a massive collecter, this is the first time I'm actually worried about what the Now will look like. The charts since Now 75 have been abysmal.

The charts are moving faster now than they were two years ago. There's more hit singles (in the top 10) that the Now! compilers can consider to be included in their tracklist. I do suspect Now! 76 is going to end up looking very urban which is fair enough as that's what's been most successful these last few months. It just doesn't appeal to me overall. Hopefully there will be a decent amount of variety, won't be too samey and there will be no utter crap takin up valueable space (ie; Jedward and Joe McElderry on Now! 75).

I think Enrique will get a surprise hit too - I noticed it at #1 on the iTunes video chart the other day, although it's since been deleted

My prediction:

How about Brandon Flowers 'Crossfire'? I don't think Now! have supported The Killers have they? So will be interesting if they decide to opt for solo Brandon...

They did, eventually. Since 2005 The Killers have been included on Nows with Somebody Told Me, Smile Like You Mean It, When You Were Young, Read My Mind, Tranquilize and Human, and also Mr Brightside has been included on Now 00's, which compiles the biggest hits of the last decade.

About Brandon as a solo act, I guess if he achieves a huge hit with Crossfire, then he'll surely get included. But will he be successful as a solo artist in the UK? I have no idea.

I think this must be the worst period in many many years for singles. I really like very few hits this year. I would struggle to find 10 from all of 2010 that I like. Most songs I like this year were either flops or not released as singles at all.

Rumoured tracklisting added to first page. It's on play.com, however the Now tracklists on the sites like HMV and Play are infamous for being wrong, so I'll wait until it's confirmed on Now's official site. But looks about right songwise, just not sure about the order of the tracklisting...

It will be right. Play always add the real tracklisting the Friday two weeks before release, which is today.

Ahhh OK. I'll still wait for clarification from Now themselves :heehee:
