Marina will do nothing, I Am Not A Robot only made #26.

Kelly Rowland is already released.

Kylie is released for downloads on the 13th.

M.I.A, Lady GaGa, Enrique (possibly) and Daisy (possibly) are left which will do well. M.I.A could flop if she receives no support.

Surprised to see Biffy Clyro releasing God & Satan as the 6th(!) single from their album. It works well as an album track, I just don't think it should be released a a stand-alone single. The only reason I can think of as to why they're releasing it is that the group must have some left over b-sides to use

Marina & The Diamonds has just confirmed her next single through her newsletter received just now.

It will be "Oh No!", to be released July 26th.

"So... I can now reveal that my next single release will be "Oh No!". I have been vigorously planning the video all month and am extremely excited about it. I haven't made a video since last December- excluding the "one take" Robot one. (Quickest. Made. Video. Ever..) It will be released this Summer on the 26th July."

OMG! please be true!! best song on the album if you ask me, brilliant choice.

also yay at diana being added to the release schedule. hopefully a bigger seller than 'once', even if it can't reach number 1.

So is "Shampain" not getting a release now? They're both eight out of ten for me, and nowhere near the best on the album, but tbh, I'd have preferred "Shampain" :(

I noticed MW had posted it last week but they hadn't removed Shampain yet so I left it for something official

Cheers

The albums releases are critical atm, if only to prevent a collapse like the one that happened under MJ last year. My predictions of #1s are:

30/05 Pendulum – Immersion - 50k

06/06 B.o.B - Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray - 45k

13/06 Christina Aguilera – Bionic - 65k

20/06 Oasis - Time Flies… 1994 – 2009 - 85k

27/06 Eminem – Recovery - 105k

04/07 Scissor Sisters – Night Work - 70k

11/07 Kylie Minogue – Aphrodite - 95k

18/07 Kylie Minogue – Aphrodite - 55k

Those sales estimates for Pendulum, Oasis and Scissor Sisters look far too low...

Also Christina will not be #1, I wouldn't be surprised if Bionic did a Sweet 7 TBH.

I nearly completely disagree.

1) Yes I think Pendulum will at least do 70k - maybe even more.

2) Oasis won't sell as much as much as you think. It's a greatest hits album which will only sell on (little) hype alone. 60k max. I think 35k though.

3) Scissor Sister won't be HUGE sellers as well. I think 70k is pretty optimistic. I'd say, if FWF is a big hit, ~55k.

4) Bionic won't do a Sweet 7 I assure you. Christina and Sugababes are worlds apart in terms of fanbase and profile (despite X's absence) I don't think it'll get #1 instantly and definitely won't do 65k in the first week. I think it will (along with many other records by US female artists) do an I Am...Sasha Fierce and peak high later on in the chart run but settle for a low debut. I say #5 max, #10 min.

For the record, I think Aphrodite will sell far more than 95k - this is like Kylie's proper comeback album imo. I'd say 100k minimum but probably around 120k first week - again depending on if ATL is a huge hit (I personally don't like it - I prefer her IBIY type stuff).

Edited by SceneofSIXCrimes

I think "bionic" will flop after the very luke warm reception to her first single. I've heard the album and its not as good as her other stuff. I have a feeling scissor sisters will struggle with their latest album but Kylie may well do best.
