It does sound very good. Alex Da Kid obviously has a winning formula with these rapper-popstar hip-hop ballads and he's going to milk it until it's as stale as a RedOne song but for now it's still pretty fresh. Hopefully this'll have QUEEN Xtina back at numero uno.

Downloaded this and pretty much went straight to 'Castle Walls'. It's alright. Nothing "amazing" or whatever. It actually feels oddly empty... I dunno, something just isn't pulling me in enough to enjoy it as much as I perhaps should.

Did someone just say Castle Walls has a bridge? That's something Love the Way You Lie and Airplanes both lacked (although the Part IIs of both songs had bridges).

 

Should we expect a Castle Walls, Part II with an Eminem rap verse at the end? :lol:

'Castle Walls' is fantastic. Can't say whether I prefer it to Airplanes or LTWYL yet though. Hope we get a couple more of these male rapper/female popstar tracks before they get boring.

 

edit: Decided that T.I.'s part isn't as good as B.o.B or Eminem, but Christina is equally as good as Hayley & Rihanna

I was expecting something better after the hype I read about it, its ok but a bit repetitive and monotonous. Maybe it's just too long.

It's okay.. nothing new, original or exciting about it however.

Still not getting the hype around it, what so ever. I mean, it's a nice song, but I just don't love it and think it's worthy of it's hype... Anyone also getting a Mario Winans 'I Don't Wanna Know' feel from the verses in particular?

Is the Keri Hilson song actually on the album? I read a tracklist somewhere, and it wasn't listed, but it could've just been a mistake.

^ I think it's on the deluxe edition (along with 'I'm Back' plus another few tracks).
