Guetta #1 :o Hope it gets #1 on Sunday :)

Where'd *this* come from? I didn't even pay it any attention, but I suppose I'd better check it out now...

Having done so, I find I haven't even heard it before, but to my disappointment it qualifies as another urban track.

Alicia needs to rest soon. She has a little bloomer on the way. ^_^

:puke2:

Songs used during performances/guess performer last night

28. Pixie Lott - Turn It Up

33 & 318. Taio Cruz feat. Ke$ha - Dirty Picture

59 & 107 & 152 & 797. Lady GaGa - Bad Romance

We had this discussion a few pages ago aswell. I don't really think the song is Urban to be honest. Urban songs usually have elements of R&B, or Hip Hop in, and Gettin' Over You has neither.

It's not urban at all!

I personally class an urban song as a song that contains elements of rap or hip hop, which 'Gettin' Over You' doesn't really have. I'd say it's about as urban as 'Good Times', maybe less.

Anyway, the current top 10 (seeing as I won't be here today);

1. Gettin' Over You - David Guetta & Chris Willis

2. Nothin' On You - B.o.B

3. Ridin' Solo - Jason Derülo

4. Candy (Radio Edit) - Aggro Santos & Kimberly Wyatt

5. Dirtee Disco (Radio Edit) - Dizzee Rascal

6. Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart - Alicia Keys

7. We Dance On (feat. Bodyrox) [From "StreetDance 3D"] - N-Dubz

8. Not Afraid - Eminem

9. Eenie Meenie - Sean Kingston & Justin Bieber

10. Solo - Iyaz

I'd class them as following;

1. Dance

2. Hip Hop

3. Pop/R&B

4. Pop/Rap

5. Dance/Rap

6. R&B/Soul

7. Pop/Hip Hop

8. Hip Hop/Rap

9. Pop/R&B

10. Pop/R&B

I bet you looked at all the genres which iTunes classified those songs. :kink: :P

Hi there you attention seeking little thing. Just thought I'd let you know...

iTunes Thread Rules:

4 smilies post :w00t: , :cheer: , :yahoo: , etc etc. These kind of posts are not adding anything value to the thread, even 1 word posts, they seem to be pointless. Please refrain from using them.

:) I bid you farewell.

I thought Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart had a CD Release on the 24th of May.

It was released as a digital download. :)

BTW, I just got my first iPod (I'd previously just had MP3 players), so now I'll be able to affect this chart, rather than just moan about it. :P

Firstly Gettin' Over You is a straight up dance song, I don't see how it 'qualifies' as anything else.

Secondly, what the hell is it with you and hip hop/R&B? It seems as if whenever there's even the slightest presence of words that aren't sung you automatically hate it without considering the rest of it.

Anyway, moan over, disappointed GOY is #1. Absolutely nothing special at all. It's just a mashup of rehashed versions of Love Is Gone, Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling with different lyrics. I hope B.o.B holds out officially.

Also, I hope TSWABH can outpeak DMA now :D

I got my first iPod three years ago and it kept freezing, which is actually normal, but I didn't know any better at the time and repeatedly kept taking it back and getting a new one.

I do actually quite like Gettin' Over You, and I hope it does get to #1. But, like OMG, and the Club is Alive, it sounds a lot like Boom Boom Pow.

Another $h!t #1 :(

Aren't the public bored of Boom Boom Pow by now?

Hi there you pathetic excuse for a moderator thing. Just thought I'd let you know, I am removing myself from this site (despite the fact that you'll probably ban me anyway) because if you can't take the p*ss out of a cringeworthy post like that, then God help us all. I didn't write anything else because I didn't need to.. the whole thing was just sick inducing and not worthy of comment just an illustration. This forum now has too many rules, and you can't bash the stupid posts, then that's a step too far for me. Have fun deleting this message after 2 seconds or keeping it, I really don't care.

:) I bid you all farewell "I would never wish bad things, but I don't wish you well" :P

You did need to write something else. That's the rules.

Bye. :P
