You've never heard of Hocus Pocus by Focus? It's a classic rock staple from the 70s, hitting number 20 in 1973 and the only song I can think of that melds hard rock with Swiss yodelling in the same song. Iron Maiden covered it a wee while back too. They're also responsible for Sylvia, a top 5 hit from the same year and my favourite instrumental of all time (sorry, 'Is this Music?'):

I also agree about the Black Eyed Peas thing. Mainly I Gotta Feeling, but it also has vibes of Boom Boom Pow and Missing You in there.

 

But especially I Gotta Feeling. However, to be fair, I Gotta Feeling and Gettin' Over You are both produced by David Guetta, and they both have the same female vocalist (Fergie), so it's vaguely understandable that they're similar.

Guys, Satellites is being played on Radio 1 atm!!!!! It's #27 in the mid-weeks. I don't know why it wasn't in the other update.

'Gettin' Over You' is alright - certainly better than the last two David Guetta singles, imo. However, I'm still hoping B.o.B. can claim a second non-consecutive week at no. 1 instead.

I think all possible combinations have already been done. All three were on Jay-Z's last album, Bey and Alicia have obviously got a song together (which I think was produced by Swizz and Alicia) and Vulker is right about "Check On It", I always used to wonder what "swiss beats" was when I heard it. :lol: :(
