September 5, 201014 yr Wow, even though the video has a simple concept it works really well! She looks flawless. Love the song, have it on repeat. I sort of wish they'd release this as lead in UK instead of 'Round & Round'.
September 5, 201014 yr ^ I think it may have more impact than 'Round & Round' initially. The video premiere was straight after first showing of Camp Rock 2 (8 million people watching). It's released on Tuesday ;D.
September 5, 201014 yr I think this will be her biggest hit in the US, it's easily her best song yet. I've had it on repeat since yesterday morning, and I haven't got bored of it yet!
September 7, 201014 yr The band will be performing at the London Hammersmith Apollo on October 20th. Tickets on sale Friday. :)
September 7, 201014 yr There's a presale on Thursday. But I don't get paid 'til Friday. And you have to preorder the album to get the presale code :(
September 9, 201014 yr A Year Without Rain really touches me. Selena outdid herself in this song.

September 14, 201014 yr My Favourites, Round & Round A Year Without Rain Off The Chain Intuition Spotlight Live Like There's No Tomorrow
September 15, 201014 yr This album's alright. Some meh songs (one rubbish 'Rock God' :puke:) but some absolute beauts! Can't get off 'Live Like There's No Tomorrow' though! THAT is WOWOWOW! LOVE IT! So; Listening through and here is my first listen rate: 01. 'Round & Round' 07.5 [Really liking this. Not as much as the first time I heard it. But it's still alright.] 02. 'A Year Without Rain' 09.0 [beautiful song. The production, the lyrics, her vocals it's brilliant. I've said it a couple of times before but it's what Cheryl Cole tried to achieve with 'Rain On Me' (which I really don't like!)] 03. 'Rock God' 04.0 [This isn't very good at all. You can barely tell it's her for a start and the lyrics are rubbish.] 04. 'Off The Chain' 08.5 [Wow. This is charming. It's like late 90's/early 00's dance with a 2010 electro twang and production thrown in. Brilliant. A grower for sure I think.] 05. 'Summer's Not Hot' 09.0 [This is amazing! I'm loving it. It's Ke$ha's 'Party At A Rich Dude's House' younger sister! Lyrics are incredibly cheesy but this song is amazing.] 06. 'Intuition' 06.5 [Alright. But there are better on the album which use this sound/production to better effect.] 07. 'Spotlight' 06.5 [see above.] 08. 'Ghost Of You' 07.0 [Nice enough song. Not punchy or memorable though. Nice though.] 09. 'Sick Of You' 08.5 [Trashy, bubblegum pop again. One of the more memorable songs though and it'll grow I think.] 10. 'Live Like There's No Tomorrow' 10.0 [This has an anthemic vibe to it. Really feeling this, rocky edge! WOW I was not expecting this! I think it's my favourite!] This album is like Ke$ha's 'Animal', cousin. Trashy, bubblegum pop. Lyrics aren't the best, but they're bearable in most of the songs and the production is great and suits Selenas voice. Decent album overall though. Not as good as Ashley Tisdale's 'Guilty Pleasure' or Miley Cyrus' 'Can't Be Tamed', but it's good. Highlights: 'Live Like There's No Tomorrow' (CLEAR FAVOURITE ) 'Summer's Not Hot' 'A Year Without Rain' 'Off The Hook' 'Sick Of You'
September 17, 201014 yr I'm wondering if "Summers Not Hot" was originally the first single, but changed for whatever reason. I remember her saying she'd recorded this really good summer single and later mentioned how she wanted the album to integral the group more. I like the album, some songs are a bit hit and miss and I fear "Spotlight" sounds like a Hannah Montana song leftover.
September 18, 201014 yr I'm patiently waiting for it's official release before listening :P. Good review there Jonjo ; ).

September 19, 201014 yr I listened to official 'planet premiere' of the songs: http://radio.disney.go.com/music/planet-pr...rain-album.html I found it enjoyable but nothing of epic proportions. Review... A YEAR WITHOUT RAIN+++ The album begins with lead 'Round & Round'. Catchy pop/dance fused sound but got old quickly thanks to it's repetitive lyrics. 'A Year Without Rain' is a slower and has a mature feel. The lyrics are better, sung along to a charming beat. 'Rock God', stomping beat and contains backing vocals from Katy Perry. Had potential to be great but falls flat. 'Off The Chain' returns to a sound we've heard on her 1st album - it's good, but not great. I like the energy however the lyrics and vocals don't thrill. 'Summer Not Hot' is fun and fast-paced but doesn't engage me like 'A Year Without Rain'. Good production. 'Intuition' has a similar sound to that of 'Popular' by Veronicas. This comparison is battle Selena doesn't win, but the male addition works well enough. 'Spotlight' - this sounds like a familiar artist close to Selena, oh yes, the Cyrus as Hanney Montaney (particularly the chorus). That said, I actually enjoy it because of the picked up dynamic come the chorus and the breakdown which gives the song more substance. 'Ghost of You' show off her improved vocals and was a needed break from the dance and fast-paced songs. 'Sick of You', good production and one of the more appealing songs on the album, enjoyable but not outstanding. It wasn't love on first listen for 'Live Like There's No Tomorrow', but I like it more now and it contains a nice bridge with a sing-a-long chorus. Rating: *** Highlight: 'A Year Without Rain'
