July 7, 201015 yr Spain has been my tip from the start to win, so I'm backing them for a win on Sunday. On the back of the European comp, 2 wins on a trot, 10 years ago France did the same, and 10 years before that Germany did the pattern.

July 8, 201015 yr Sorry Zechhh, maybe in 4 years time in Brazil. No need to be sorry. :P The better team definitely won. Germany's defense was pretty good most of the time but the offensive midfield was clearly lacking, IMO. Müller was missing badly. Add to that the nervousness that was there for at least the first 30 to 40 minutes and the fact that Spain played their best match of the tournament by far and it was a very deserved win. European Championship is coming first, though. ;)

There's a zoo in Germany.....they place 2 separate containers in its tank.....with the opposing countries' flags......and, there's food in the containers.....whatever container the octopus crawls into for the food, is used as a prediction for the winning team......so far, the octopus is like 8 for 8 in its predictions as to the winning teams..... :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
