I agree. Their comments [whilst being the usual stereotypical $h!t] seem to be a lot more geared to personality this year. 'She's rather dull', 'will people pick up the phone and vote for him?', 'he doesn't have anything going for him outside of his voice' etc. It's not right imo but of course this show is never fair and is all based on manipulation. They obviously want as many nut-jobs/idiots or people who will divide public opinion to go through to the final as possible - at the expense of the remaining contestants that actually have a grain of talent.

 

I don't think the girls are that strong if the rumoured 3 are true. I can't see Cher being able to adapt to the different themed weeks. She's already attempted to give the exact same type of performance three times and that Katie creature is just an abomination. I honestly think one of the boys or groups are going to win this year. Mary may be a dark horse but previous experience concerning the older singers says that won't happen - but I have a feeling the public would hate Storm as well :lol:

 

You're right; I can't see Cher trying to adapt too much. Disco week she'll sing a chorus of Wishing On A Star or something, and then add some nonsense "rap" in place of a verse. Big band week - chorus of Smile and then some nonsense rap. Rock week; chorus of China In Your Hand and then some nonsense rap...

 

Mary is a quarter finalist at best I think - she's simply Niki Evans + a few pounds.

I was watching the repeat earlier on ITV and I like 1Directions performance a lot more than last night. I still think the lead two singers are breaking into Danyl Johnson style arrogance though :/

Her cock-ups and lack of preparation are a stage-managed. Don't say you believe that her cock-up a the audition stage was genuine. It was a way to get her noticed ... hey ... it got her more TV time than a lot of the other average performers. She knows exactly what she's doing. She's a professional and she's using all the tricks of the trade that she's accumulated. Good luck to her ... with a voice as average as hers ... she has to use her acting skills.

 

You could see the ONLY act that Will I Am was impressed with at all (quite rightly) was Rebecca.

 

Sadly ... Cher has proved that she is a one trick pony. And I liked her to begin with.

I liked Katie at the beginning, but then quickly began to hate her. I like Cher, but she's not as good as everybody says she is (I said this last week!). I love Matt, Bel Ami (or is it Belle Amie? I'm near advanced in French and would reckon it's Belle Amie because it's feminine...). Rebecca is amazing and One Direction are also very good. Right now, I'd like Rebecca and Matt as the final two! :D
