June 15, 201015 yr Edit: OK christinas at 10, I must have misread something :kink: I think that will fall more throughout the week If that holds, we have a chart record! Edited June 15, 201015 yr by chart wizard
June 15, 201015 yr Oh Oasis, how I love you. Great that one of their compilations is finally going to make #1 after "Stop the Clocks" was denied by Westlife.
June 15, 201015 yr Sales are looking great :D Very surprised to see Example at #2, hope he can hold it :o Kele top 30 :w00t: And I hope Xtina can break the record for fastest fall from #1 (currently held by George Harrison's All Things Must Pass who went 1-18 but under exceptional circumstances, without such circumstances it's the 1-16 of Ellie Goulding's Lights) Thanks for the info. Think George's drop was to do with a postal strike.
June 15, 201015 yr There is only 6 tracks on it, I'm still in two minds over it, Its only 23mins long apparently and I think singles are limited to 25 mins to be eligible to chart in the singles chart, it might end up NCQ, and at £4.99 I think it makes it eligible for the Budget album chart... I think.... I think single is max 4 tracks unless a remix CD when it can have more as long as they are all the same song (multiple mixes), so it won't qualify. As far as budget goes, its the "dealer price", not the retail one which sets this, so it could go either way, though how weird would that be if it didn't chart? Unless its classed as an EP, which can chart in the albums but gawd knows what the rules are there...
June 15, 201015 yr So - Oasis will have the 900th No.1 Album..... It does look that way unless Geri Halliwell announces a midweek album release for tomorrow.
June 15, 201015 yr It does look that way unless Geri Halliwell announces a midweek album release for tomorrow. Geri Halliwell?
June 15, 201015 yr It does look that way unless Geri Halliwell announces a midweek album release for tomorrow. Oh Alan...
June 15, 201015 yr How come Chemical Brothers' new album wasn't included in the update? Surely it can't be outside the top 40 considering their last 5 studio albums made #1 :???:
June 15, 201015 yr Where in the charts is "Outta My Head" by Leona Lewis? There is a facebook campaign to make this song chart this week...
June 15, 201015 yr Where in the charts is "Outta My Head" by Leona Lewis? There is a facebook campaign to make this song chart this week... looks like it failed LOL!!
June 15, 201015 yr Where in the charts is "Outta My Head" by Leona Lewis? There is a facebook campaign to make this song chart this week... Looks like the 'Untouchable' campaign part 2 :heehee: When will people learn? Edited June 15, 201015 yr by kutox
June 15, 201015 yr Looks like the 'Untouchable' campaign part 2 :heehee: When will people learn? This wasn't as pointless as that with an unrealiastic goal, I think the idea was to get it into the charts to show the stupid record label how much people wanted it to be a single. The plan was actually invented by one of our Buzzjack members on Twitter over a month ago, but of course it only got a small amount of members and it was pretty much given up on weeks ago.
June 15, 201015 yr I think the exact positions aren't allowed to be published to the public or something so BJ use sums instead. Might be wrong though. You're from the AB forum aren't you? :P Ah, thanks I thought it might be something like that & yes I am :) There seem to be lots of Burke Stans in this forum
June 15, 201015 yr It does look that way unless Geri Halliwell announces a midweek album release for tomorrow. .....If only!!
June 15, 201015 yr The Leona compaign would've been a lot less unrealistic, as it's much easier to get something top 40, than top 10. I can't believe it's not even got into the top 1000 though. I mean, considering some of the songs that get into the top 1000, you'd think you'd only need a sale or two. Edited June 15, 201015 yr by Eric_Blob

I wanted this to succeed because it's so stupid that it isn't a single. But nobody else seemed to be buying it so I didn't bother in the end

Fair enough, but still, it would need tens of thousands of people behind it to succeed, because not everyone who joins the Facebook groups goes along with these things in the end anyway.
June 15, 201015 yr I'm gonna buy mine when it hits the bargain bins (most likely soon) - that alone will make it re-enter the top 75. :PI'm getting myn when it hits the bargain bins too, lets buy the same week and make it top 40 :party:And me. :kink:
