May 26, 201114 yr Unfortunalty, no. I Should Be So Lucky is the most near, but I don't see it selling 300k!
May 26, 201114 yr I wish it was, it deserves to be a million seller/close to one million. It's a shame we didn't get official sales for the singles/albums before Confide in Me/Kylie Minogue back in June 2009, then we could see how much ISBSL is over 700k
May 26, 201114 yr I supose i should be so lucky is such a career defining song for kylie in so many ways and was so big at the time we just assume it had sold more. I meant to mention it before, remember some time back their was rumours that kylie was releasing a cd single style boxset of all her old singles, i have to say this is something i would love and think she has a big enough loyal fanbase to go ahead and do it aswell. May 27, 201114 yr You ever heard of a little word called 'please'? Seriously what is your problem with me? I read that EFY passed 1 million on SayHey I asked for a source. But I doubt any other Kylie single will ever pass 1 million now unless it's a new track. Or unless she re-releases I should be so lucky but the ballad version. Wouldn't this count to the I should be so lucky sales?
May 27, 201114 yr You are the one who seems to have a problem with me mister/missus/creature-thing. If she released a new verison of Lucky then I am pretty sure it won't count to the original, it would also kill off her career if she went back and re-released it.
May 29, 201114 yr Not entirely sure where to put this since there's no pinned sales topic but here are reasonable approximations of Kylie's recent US album sales: Fever - 1,159,000 Body Language - 177,000 Ultimate Kylie - 50,000 X - 42,000 Aphrodite - 60,000
June 22, 201114 yr On Haven, the 1994 Year End Chart has Put Yourself in My Place on sales of 109,000 (which seems more correct compared to the 84,931 figure we have here because PYIMP had an okay chart run considering its peak - 17-11-16-18-...)
July 24, 201113 yr The albums that appear on Kylie: The Albums 2000-2010 have a total of 3,362,000 together!
July 30, 201113 yr Kylie sales (in the 90s only) TEARS ON MY PILLOW- 245K BETTER THE DEVIL YOU KNOW-219K CONFIDE IN ME- 209K STEP BACK IN TIME 144K GIVE ME JUST A LITTLE MORE TIME- 138K WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?- 129K
July 30, 201113 yr On Haven, the 1994 Year End Chart has Put Yourself in My Place on sales of 109,000 (which seems more correct compared to the 84,931 figure we have here because PYIMP had an okay chart run considering its peak - 17-11-16-18-...) Bear in mind the figure of 110K was done using the sales of the time, and as with all sales 94-96 these have now been downgrading- this also explains the difference between my figure for confide in me and the figure given by ryry in 2009
July 31, 201113 yr Kylie sales (in the 90s only) TEARS ON MY PILLOW- 245K BETTER THE DEVIL YOU KNOW-219K CONFIDE IN ME- 209K STEP BACK IN TIME 144K GIVE ME JUST A LITTLE MORE TIME- 138K WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?- 129K Thanks for the info. Greatly appreciated
August 3, 201113 yr CGYOOMH has sold 1,131,000 copies to date Especially for You - 992,000 (Andy, Haven) Edited August 3, 201113 yr by liamk97
September 26, 201113 yr We really need another update, especially for the albums. I think that Greatest Hits '92 and Greatest Hits 1987-1992's sales are the wrong way round, but even if they do get swapped, 170,000 is still too low, as it was higher than Coldplay's Parachutes in 2002 Year End Chart, and Coldplay's Parachutes sold 188,000 copies in that year, and I don't think Let's Get To It sold ~200,000.
November 5, 201113 yr What Do I Have to Do sold 129,600 in the 90's (thanks to Gezza76 :D ), so I'll say the 140k figure is pretty accurate! :D
November 9, 201113 yr Give Me Just a Little More Time is at #167 in Top 200 Best Selling Female Solo Singles of the 90s, selling 138,600 copies in that decade, and has sold no more 150k todate - whoever came up with the 325k estimate must be shot! :P
November 10, 201113 yr Step Back in Time is #156 in the Top 200 Best Selling Female Solo Singles of the 90's, selling 144,200 copies in that decade, so I think it's probably sold now more than 155k in total, so not far off the estimate in the first post :)
November 27, 201113 yr Yeah I find it hard to believe that Lets Get To It has sold more than KM94...and also agree that I would have thought Put Yourself In My Place would have sold more as not only did it have a decent chart run but it was also out around Christmas time.
