crowded house 5k ?? where are they in the charts :|

 

That's 5k in the first set of mids - they're at #2.

 

4 new entries in the top 5 (1 Oasis, 2 Crowded House, 3 The Gaslight Anthem :o and 5 Drake), only the first of which has any chance of haning around for a while. I'm also certain at least Drake and possibly also CH and/or TGA will drop out of the top 5 in favour of some slightly older albums like The Fame and Crazy Love.

These sales are terrible! I'm looking forward to Xmas time with Alex, Leona, Cheryl & JLS debuting with 100k+

 

& don't you think that Eminem prediction is kind of over-optimistic?

It is a little, "Relpase" was far more hyped but he should shift well over 50k. Oasis could be looking good for #2, even though the last album fell quite quickly it was at a tough time of year and greatest hits by big acts outside Q4 do tend to stick around quite well.

I think After looking around on Hmv,Play, Amazon Miley will get a top 6-8 album :D

First is frist who thinks next week's chart battle(album) will be amazing! I know Eminem is gauranteed to be number 1 But where do you think

Miley Will peak (10)

Kele will peak (13) ?

 

I agree that Enimen is likely to be #1, but will even he be able to shrug off the overall album sales slump?

Are you allowing for the dead albums market?

 

I don't see Eminem shifting more than 70-80k, given that even artists with a good albums record, like Katie Melua, haven't been able to get near 100k+

Enimem is obvs number 1 :P, Example low top 10, Miley the same and Kele high top 20, 11 or 12

Miley will easily make top 10 due to the diabolical sales as of late but I expect her to bomb down faster than Aguilera and Vickers combined :heehee:

Example is an interesting one. It could follow the route of Iyaz and bomb horifically or do really well. I'm thinking of the latter as the horrors or Basshunter and Darren Styles reaching top 5 from the same genre are returning to haunt me.

 

Eminem is a surefire #1. How much it sells is going to be the main question. I'd guess somewhere in the 70k region.

 

Kele may just scrape top 10 again due to the low sales and plummet magnificently. I feel it may be midweeked top 5 and either hang on to top 10 or just miss out by the end of the week.

#1 Kele 500k in the first week :smoke:

Eminem will take the #1 with about 80k

 

Example and Kele, both being chart débuts, are difficult to tell but I'd predict top 5 for both, mainly due to low sales for the latter artist.

 

Miley might go top 5 too, I'd expect top 10 minimum though.

Eminem number 1 definately- Example low top 10, maybe 8- Miley and Kele low top 10/high top 15
