I wonder if the remix of One Shot could get released? Thinking about it, if they've got 8 songs on it with three being previous singles (Forever Is Over, Ego, Missing You) then that means it's between Higher, One Shot and three other tracks for the next single. Surely they wouldn't just put the remix of One Shot on the album for nothing? Maybe they have intentions of releasing it after the strong support towards it by fans?

Basicaly, the deal with 'One Shot' was that it was going to be the 3rd single from 'Wordshaker'. This was changed from 'Here Standing' at the last minute. Then 'Missing You' came along and their new material and they decided to scrap Wordshaker and dive in to their next project.

'One Shot' was mixed for the single release (like Here Standing. WAWA had mixed it) yet the mixes from these 2 'cancelled' singles have not surfaced. Rumour has it Starsmith has done the remix for One Shot as he confirmed he had been mixing for them.

I think they'll get a maximum of 3 singles from this EP, and if the demand is still high then 'One Shot' will most likely be the last single from 'Headlines'. However, considering the song feels like a billion years old, and fans will have this if they own both 'Wordshaker' and 'Headlines' there may be no need to release it as a single.

Who knows.

Britney did the same for 'Radar'. She included it on 'Circus' because it was originally planned for release after 'Break The Ice', but the label decided to move on to the next project and as consolation decided to have it on 'Circus'.

There was actually a contract to release 'Radar' as 4th single from 'Blackout', and then like you said they moved on with the 'Circus' album, and ended up as the 4th single. It was only released as a single like I said because of a contract. I'm sure if it was up to her team, they wouldn't of included it in the Circus tracklist.

Blackout was an awesome album, her best imo. They should of carried it on. I hate when artists do that, when they appear to be in a rush to release new material. I'm sure the world can wait a little longer. It was like with Girls Aloud and 'Tangled Up'. What an absolute discrase it was to move to onto 'Out of Control' after just 3 singles! The album screamed "MORE SINGLES PLEASE!".. Girl Overboard, Close to Love, do I have to name anymore?! However the 4th single was going to 'Black Jacks' so perhaps it was best they left it at that.

Anyway, back on topic lol! :D

New performance of Higher:

Una's vocals at the end are amazing especially.

'Higher' is going to be MASSIVE! I think from the live performances I've seen of it, it's my 2nd favourite Sats song (behind 'Ego'!) But I NEED too hear the studio version for clarification! GAH! It's SOOOO GOOD! I hope they release it as a single and don't perform it everywhere and not give it a release (i.e. 'One Shot' & 'Wordshaker'! :drama:)

Oh and just when I thought I couldn't fall in love with Una anymore...

Hopefully the studio version won't disappoint! And yeah I think it would be huge if released. Fingers crossed! :)

They have such amazing on stage presence. Fantastic dancers, great vocals by all (I think Frankie is definately improving, and considering the amount of dancing they did their vocals were never poor) and just natural chemistry between the group. These girls should be huge. :(

It's a shame the chorus seemed to be mimed :P There's absolutely no way they can keep that in tune whilst doing what they do so vigorously with their head
Ah I really hope we get the artwork and tracklisting soon! :)

The live versions of their music always sounds better than the studio versions. 'Missing You' sounds awesome with a live band (

Higher does sound immense, it definitely sounds like a Saturdays song as well.
i am loving those new performances of higher and missing you just dont like how they are sounding kinda pop rocky. think maybe thats why wordshaker didnt click as much kind of a pop rocky sound where as chasing lights was pure pop, but still luving higher and missing you bring on headlines :)
anybody else think that HIGHER could be the October/November single and "do an UP"
I have been watching clips from their wigan gig, please never let Una near Mollie's lines again, she completly butchers the start of Open Up and Work in the clips i've seen. Frankie would have been much bettered suited to the opening of Work, since Una seems to try and sing everything to a diffrent tune to the actual beat of the song (see also the second verse of ITIL and any live preformance of JCGE)

.. You don't like the new melody in her parts in If This Is Love?! Woah, it's ace. Makes it a little more exciting.
