Livvi Franc - Automatik

If Radio 1 got behind it, i think it could have easily gone top 10

Muse - Undisclosed Desires. One of my most favourite Muse songs ever and one of a few of their songs that didn't reach top 40 :(

This is another. Why on Earth did their label make it download only? I reckon it may have gone top 25 with physicals.

Paloma Faith - Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful. The worst performing single from her album, but it sounds so good!

Another: Ciara feat. Missy Elliot - Work!

What a flop after a top 5 previous single. Work deserved to do so much better. Quite surprised Radio 1 didn't play it.

Similar applies to Welcome To The World by Kevin Rudolf. Great song. :(

Lena Meyer-Landrut - Satellite

Shakira - Waka Waka

Keri Hilson - I Like

I suspect all of these low top 40 UK hits could have been at least top ten with mass exposure...all #1 in Germany though :funky:

Here is my list of the undeserved flops:

-Hearts Don't Lie - Gabriella Cilmi: Maybe one of the best disco songs to be released the past 10 years  ,in the same level as Blondie's 'Heart of glass',yet it failed to make it into the top 100. Maybe it's caus' Gabriella didn't promote it at all. But it's such a classic gay anthem.

Seriously? On A Mission has far, far better grounds to be counted as a 'classic gay anthem'. I don't think I know ANYBODY who gave a $h!t about HDL

A couple that did actually genuinely shock me;

Colbie Caillat - Bubbly - top five everywhere else in the world, released twice here and misses the top 40 both times :(

Christian Falk feat Robyn - Dream On - I think most people had predicted at least top 10 for this beauty with full Radio 1 support, and it limped into the top 30...

I did. Granted it's not as good as 'On A Mission' but I liked it almost as much and it was a perfectly worthy follow-up.

Britney - If U Seek Amy

To be honest, with the jacked up radio edit, and Jive's silly release schedule; it's a surprise this peaked at #20, had those problems not occurred, a definite top #5.

Florence + The Machine - Dog Days Are Over

I have no answer for this, except maybe over exposure? For it's re-release to the public, I expected top 10. Yet I think it just repeaked?

Ashlee Simpson - Outta My Head

Had this been released 3 months before, it would've been huge. There was a time and place for Timbaland tracks, and when Ashlee released hers wasn't the time. Plus she had no radio support whatsoever!

Mini Viva - I Wish

I loved that song, i thought it was gonna go top 5 :/

Agnes - On & On aswell as I Need You :/

Just today Dennis Ferrer - Hey Hey, deserved top 20 but instead only makes to f***ing fifty-five!
Christian Falk feat Robyn - Dream On - I think most people had predicted at least top 10 for this beauty with full Radio 1 support, and it limped into the top 30...

This totally. It was a fantastic pop song with enough support - it continues to be a mystery how this flopped.

I wouldn't count this as a flop; yeah it missed the top 20, but if you look at the total sales it's actually been a success. It's cleared around 150k, which is more than most top 10 hits.

Kelly Clarkson - I Do Not Hook Up (thought it would have been top 5 ).

Beyonce - Broken-Hearted Girl (one of the best singles Beyonce has ever released imo).

Cherish - Killa (a hit that never was :snif:).

Mini Viva - I Wish

I loved that song, i thought it was gonna go top 5 :/

Agnes - On & On aswell as I Need You :/

Mini Viva deserved to flop with that hideous excuse of a song. Agnes deserved a consecutive run of top 10s.

Beyonce - Broken Hearted Girl

Sabrina Washington - OMG - Why did this flop?!?! This was the perfect pop tune!

The Killers - This Is The World That We Live In - This was top 10 in NL, but flopped miserably here :(

Nerina Pallot - Real Late Starter - Missed the chart completly :(

La Roux - I'm Not Your Toy/Quicksand - Should have done better.

Frankmusik - Better Off As Two - Should have been a top 10er

Alphabeat - DJ - Why did this fail :(

Yeah, I think I Need You Now by Agnes was a bit of a shock. It didn't get much promo, but it was a phenomenal song, and Agnes has a huge hit shortly before.

It was an ultra weak follow-up to 'Release Me' and killed her UK career stone dead.

It didn't butt it arguably had more potential than any of them since it's basically "Wake Me Up When September Ends" with the same structure as "Boulevard of Broken Dreams".

21 Guns is basically 'All the Young Dudes' by Mott the Hoople, hence why it flopped.
