Just heard 'Yoü And I' on the radio for the first time, would've sounded amazing if they hadn't cut out about 90 seconds. It was put together awful.

I heard it on one of the random Sky stations while I was channel surfing, it was in full. I also heard it on Radio 2 (my mum had it on in the car) and they also edited it, which sounded awful. I guess some stations are stupidly stubborn at playing longer than usual songs :(

Capital seem to be skipping the 2nd verse and chorus of their songs now! Like when Rolling In The Deep was on today, it went: Verse, Chorus, Middle 8, Final Chorus. It was only about 3 minutes long! I'm not looking forward to seeing what they're going to do with You & I :(

Heart did that sometimes with Someone Like You, they'd cut the second verse :mellow: I mean yes, it's over 4 minutes but it ruins the song, surely they don't think their listeners have such a crap attention span? They'll butcher You & I, as will Capital actually - I've noticed them cutting songs about as well :(

It ended up being around 3-4 minutes because they then started doing weird stuff with the final chorus, mixing it up a bit in a strange order. Just a local station, nothing big. A good minute was chopped.

Hopefully the big radio stations play as much of it as possible! I think most radio stations played the full version of The Edge Of Glory, so there is SOME hope. :lol:

Could they not just play that remix Chris posted? It sounds pretty similar to the album version and is cropped down really well.

I'd love them to play that remix, I can't stop listening to it. :wub: I wouldn't be surprised if some of the dance music channels (MTV Dance, Clubland, DanceNation) use that remix as their main version, its what they usually do with slower tempo tracks (Adele 'Rolling In The Deep' for example).
