February 5, 201312 yr A new song titled 'Is This Love' has appeared online and is a collaboration with Alex Gaudino. Jordin has tweeted to confirm this will not appear on the album as she has said 'go ahead. That's from 2+ yrs ago. for once, I don't care about that one. That's definitely not my sound for this next record.' I remember before 'I Am Woman' was released that 'Is This Love' was originally rumoured to be the new single, so it is likely this was it - maybe not with Alex Gaudino though? She tweeted: #10daysbeforeitbreaks I have found on ATRL forums that a song called 'Before It Breaks' has been registered onto a song database and that it says "Performers: Jordin Sparks & Jason Derulo" which suggests that this upcoming song is likely to be a collaboration between both Jordin and Jason! Of course if this turns out not to be the case, the thread title can easily be changed to whatever it needs to be. I wasn't sure whether to put this topic in the Pop forum or the R&B forum as Jordin has released both types of songs, but all of her previous topics seem to be here in the Pop forum so I've posted in here! Jordin is one of my favourite artists and 'Battlefield' in particular is one of my favourite songs of all-time so I can't wait to listen to new songs from Jordin!

July 23, 201311 yr I literally read like an hour or so ago that they were recording duets for both of their albums, so I'm pleased to see that we should be hearing one very shortly. Love both of them and like Jack, both of Jordin's albums have been brilliant. So I'm definitely looking forward to this.

August 2, 201311 yr Hopefully Jordin can find some sort of success with this album. Back in 2009, it seems Jordin should've smashed with her album and singles but somehow didn't. On paper they were hits. 'Battlefield' was on the 'Halo'/'Bleeding Love' Tedder-ballad bandwagon while 'S.O.S.' was incredibly in fashion back then. Both were decent-selling top 20 hits but I expected top 10 for both of them.
August 2, 201311 yr 'S.O.S.' was/is a favourite of mine but at the time I assumed it'd completely bomb, it did better than I expected. I still think 'Emergency (911)' was a missed opportunity from that album, but not as much as 'Freeze' was from her debut. :angry:

'Emergency Room' or something?
November 9, 201311 yr Jordin revealed in an interview recently that her album is completed (although she is still open to adding new songs) and she is hoping to release the first single at the beginning of next year depending on timing issues with her acting projects.
