Just seen in the other topic that kylie is selling more physicals then jls and this is kylie 2nd week with her single so there physicals cant be that great can they?

It will be a travesty if this song makes it to #1. Airplanes, California Gurls and Love the Way You Lie are all far more deserving (and My First Kiss, to a lesser extent).

I'd say Kylie is probably selling 6k physicals at the very most and JLS would therefore be selling 3-4k. It could make all the difference on sunday unfortunately. :(

 

Whatever the position JLS debut at on sunday, I think their first week sales are going to be extremely underwhelming. ~65k?

b.o.b as been number 1 on itunes since thrusday early morning tho and as a big lead to jls tbh when jls was number 1 there lead wasnt big thats why b.o.b and katy and all the overs have over took them so i think b.o.b could easily do it plus he as been above jls on every single download site since sunday expect itunes which he over took them thrusday mornin lets just put it this way its not going to be a easy number 1 for them like everyone thought it would be so sunday will be interesting

Even if this does chart at #1, it looks like it will have a similar/worse chart run than Once by Diana Vickers, which can only be a good thing. I'm so glad the public have proven that we won't just buy anything, regardless of quality.

worst diana vickers stayed in top 10 for 3 weeks wen from 1-4-8 then out top ten i cant see this being in top 10 next week then outta it but once as sold over 182k i think thats good for someone who came 4th on xfactor shes doing good for herself just seen on the other topic here single 'the boy who murdered love' is 2nd biggest pre order single this week too plus shes had #1 album so diana is doing rather good for herself considing she asnt had no big xfactor performances like leona , jls , alexandra did to sell loads

Well, it'll probably be even worse than Diana's. Diana started the following week at #2 on iTunes, whilst JLS looks set to do so at #5! :o

Why does everyone forget 'Dirtee Disco'? :) It did even worse than 'Once'

 

JLS have slowed down. Kylie is losing again her lead. I can conclude that Kylie is a daytime seller while JLS are more evening sellers.

This is a bit of an unfair statement given DD has only been out for 6 weeks... I'm sure it can manange two more in the top 75 (well, at least one more anyway).

Yes, I knew someone would catch me with this. :lol: Yeah, I forgot that Dirtee Disco is still charting and doing it pretty well. Maybe it will even sell more than 'Once' because it isn't exactly free-falling now.

 

'Once' in the first 6 weeks:

1-4-8-18-31-44

 

'Dirtee Disco' in the first 6 weeks:

1-4-12-22-35-41

 

So now DD is outpeaking Once if we compare 6th weeks of both!

But iTunes makes up for around 85% of download sites in regards to how they affect the official chart.

 

I'm so glad the public have proven that we won't just buy anything, regardless of quality.

With JLS dropping to #5 added with Kylie outselling them in the physical singles chart means B.o.B. could well score his second #1 for 2010.

 

It's gonna be close but I hope justice prevails and we actually end the week with a great no. 1 rather than a grate no. 1 instead.

Maybe Pixie Lott, Boys and Girls from last year? I know it wasn't #1 in Digitals, but I can't remember where it charted in the Physicals.

I know! Last week it got played on FF and got into the top 300. This week it's shot up like 60 places, almost into the top 200 due to FF.
