Very glad to see JLS dropping very fast. It looks like it will be more of a non number one than 'Once' and 'Dirty Disco'! :D

I would like Just Be Good To Green to be No.1 in the way of Lily Allen being on it because this will be her last single for years and maybe even forever :snif: So it would be good for her to finish off with a third No.1.

Her heart is clearly not in it musically if she is "retiring" from the music industry so soon so she doesn't deserve another number one imo - and this is coming from someone who actually respect(s/ed) her as an artist (especially because of her song 'F**k You').

However, she might just be retiring in the same way as Eminem etc.

She wants to become a mother, and wants to dedicate time to that. I remember her saying that she may return, but she wants to have a family first. And I fully respect her for that. ^_^

I don't know if this is true, and I can't remember where I got this from, but I heard Lily acutally asked to provide the vocals, because it's one of her favourite songs.

Anyway, I like the song, personally.

Prof Green was a support act for Lily somewhere I think. And yeah, she did ask to provide the vocals (well, according to an interview Green did with one of the Radio 1 DJs, can't remember which one)

Some movement :D

Professor Green up to 6, JLS down to 7, this could be even more of a non number 1 than Once or Dirtee Disco :kink:

Oh it will. ;)

I've already predicted 'TCIA' will have plummeted out of the top 40 in four weeks. It will be the defining non no. 1 of 2010 - at least 'Everybody Hurts' and 'Shout' had some purpose (Haiti disaster and World Cup). As for 'TCIA' there's just no excuse for such a tragic song.

Once went 1-4-8 inside the top 10 (then 18-31-44-48-65-77-x)
Is the next installment in the Katie Price roadshow not on tv this week the "Wedding" special, she is still climbing and I am sure will be Top 50 soon.It does not make sense what is happening with Diana's sales, she really was promoted as the next big thing, I wonder what is not clicking with the public.
both Once and Dirtee Disco fell 1-4, this looks set to fall out of the top 5- which has only happened once this year and it was a charity single

Unless chartstats has been screwy with crediting, Bang Bang Bang will be the first time in 13 years that Q-Tip has been in the top 10. He made #6 in 1997 with 'Got 'Til It's Gone' (Janet Jackson feat. Q-Tip and Joni Mitchell).

He came close to the top 10 (#12) in 2000 with his own song 'Breathe and Stop'.

;o

I think its her voice - its the epitome of marmite I think.

Its a shame because I like Once and I really love TBWML at the moment.

She may just be pigeon-holed too much due to her voice and have limited appeal outside her core fanbase on the basis that her voice actually irritates A LOT of people unfortunately.

He came even closer in 2002 (#11) as featured on "Girls, Girls, Girls" with Jay-Z. :P

You're right about chartstats being screwy with crediting!! He got to No. 3 with the Chemical Brothers in January 2005 on their hit 'Galvanize'.

yeah, she really is love-or-hate really- and probably wont do great with this single unless it kicks off :(

its a shame as her music is good and imo the best songs from someone off XF

I didnt realise Q-Tip sang Galvanize- or that he sang before!
