March 10, 201114 yr This is good. Too good for the UK :kink: They have got some help from Stargate Norway :smoke:
March 10, 201114 yr Just because it's Norway :P Don't quite a lot of entries have help from other countries in some way?
March 10, 201114 yr They have got some help from Stargate Norway :smoke: Blue always used to work with Stargate (as does basically everyone - Rihanna/Katy Perry etc...) so no real surprise. Their three most remembered uptempos - All Rise, Fly By II and One Love were all Stargate productions. Stargate vs. RedOne! Nice to see some great producers in the contest :D
March 10, 201114 yr ^ Don't forget Beyoncé, Ne-Yo, Shakira, Chris Brown, Jordin Sparks, Alexis Jordan and Wiz Khalifa :kink: just to mention a few
March 10, 201114 yr :o I love it. Looking forward to seeing them perform this on Graham Norton tommorow
March 10, 201114 yr I understand why they didn't go with one, but that final breakdown could REALLY have done with a key change.
March 10, 201114 yr I feel the complete opposite, I was relieved that they didn't go for one, it would be completely unnecessary and overly cheesy on this track imo. It's a very credible song without it (considering it's by an old boyband and a UK entry )
March 10, 201114 yr I was also expecting a overblown ballad as well so I was also quite surprised just now listening to 'I Can' in full. I agree with Tyron that it doesn't quite sound like the makings of a winning entry, but should surely get the UK into the top 10 at least. I agree though with GD that a key change isn't appropriate with this kind of song.
March 10, 201114 yr Wow, its good! :o top 10 please! or frankly any position above 15th :kink: Edited March 10, 201114 yr by chart wizard
March 10, 201114 yr Wow, the UK back to the good entries :o Well I had high hopes for Blue, they better do well :D
March 10, 201114 yr I don't like Blue, but it's a good entry. It's far more contemporary than our last one, which was so dated it preceded music. I reckon the contest will be in Stockholm over Cardiff/London/Where ever it gets shunted provided Sweden don't f*** up and send one of the vile tracks from MF.

Even I doubt Sweden will win now Russia have RedOne on board with something that sounds fantastic! Saade was a possibility but I reckon he's top five at best.

I'm waiting for something that could pass for LQ at least leaking before I judge Russia. Last time i checked it was just a real fuzzy live clip. And to be fair I said it'd be in Sweden over the UK i.e. they are more likely to win than us rather than a dead cert.

And to be fair I said it'd be in Sweden over the UK i.e. they are more likely to win than us rather than a dead cert. Russia are pretty much guaranteed top three with anything they've put an effort into anyway - anything involving RedOne on board (and a judgement off the live clip) leads me to think it's likely to smash Believe out of the park. Although that said, I've no idea how juries will take to it - they're not quite as traditionalist as most people think, but they're certainly more inclined to the likes of France than the likes of RedOne.
March 11, 201114 yr Author WE CAN. We can f***ing win with this!!! Best chance since Jessica Garlick easily! Russia are my only concern now tbh, but that didn't sound amazing from that low quality clip we have. No doubt that'll all change when the studio version is released though.
March 11, 201114 yr WOW! Really, really loving this! Doesn't sound like a typical UK Eurovision entry and more like a genuine chart hit! It's not hard to see why they chose this as their comeback. It'll smash everywhere. I don't think it'll win, but it should get us a very respectable result and it's like what one of those articles were saying on one of the previous pages, about us not winning this year but just about the BBC getting interest back into the contest so they can fund money into it and host it properly, for when we do eventually win. (I believe we WILL win again, before 2015 at least...)
