Bought Strip Me Away from iTunes about a week ago. Nice album. Glad I've been getting back into Natasha recently, she has some great songs.
Each to their own but that not at all. Natasha can't sing live and isn't versatile like Jessie. That's an insult to Jessie more than anything.

These Words and Price Tag are incredibly similar.

Unwritten and Who You Are are practically sisters. I'm not talking completely about singing ability as I haven't seen either live, but Natasha would fit right in with pretty much all the songs on Jessie's album IMO. :P That's why I think Bedz would do well. :D

It's a shame Natasha stays in America now, she's one of those artists who has been completely forgotten by the UK now she's big in the states.

I'm glad she's had the success she wanted there, but it would be nice to see her try and get that bit of success she had here back again.

^ She's not a success in the US any more, unfortunately.

I'm giving this album another chance after so long and I am LOVING it so much. With more listens I may even consider it her best effort. :o

I hate how it didn't see the light of day in the UK, I know it would have had no hope of success but that doesn't stop so many albums getting a release anyway.

She sold out and left her home country that made her famous for the US after having a hit. Now she is irrelevant in her home country and the US. Not much sympathy for her tbh. Thats what you get when you turn your back on the fans that made you.
I don't think "strip me" is as good as her previous albums. There are some nice tracks on it but also some pretty bland ones. Best album is the pocketful of sunshine release for USA.

And you think her second album boming here had nothing to do with her relevancy? Granted there wasn't any effort put into the UK since N.B., but she hasn't released anything and her label totally dicked her around so what do you expect?

Word! All of her last three albums are good/great but Pocketful is the one where she hit gold and found her sound. The only one I'm not bothered about is the debut which I maintain is pretty weak aside from the singles and Frogs & Princes.

I thought it was an astonishing debut, musically diverse and showed what she was capable of from the get go. I don't like 'Frogs & Princes' or 'Drop Me In The Middle' though.

The main reason I wish Strip Me (or Away) was released in the UK is because everywhere I've ever looked it costs an obscene price to import it. :arrr:

Frogs & Princes? What is that? It's not on my version of ''Unwritten''

I hate all those different versions of albums. According to wiki that's the UK edition, mine is also missing ''I'm a Bomb''. I have the ''American & Japanese'' edition which includes ''The One That Got Away'' and ''Stumble''. Both very good.

'I'm A Bomb' is AMAZING. 'The One That Got Away' was originally the B-side to our 'These Words' single, that and 'Stumble' were tacked on for the US edition exclusively.

Shame it never got a physical release though... :(

Whatever happened to her brother as well? He faded fast. His first album did exceptionately well and the second didnt do half as well and since then he's not done anything!!
