I thought you liked California Gurls  It got to #2 in your chart. *Expose Mikey* :kink:

American Gurls is not that bad I suppose, its probably because I've heard it too much now.

WNSA, after awhile it can get quite annoying.

I just find Fireflies and Airplanes the stand out #1 tracks of the year so far... You could take Katy Perry out of the rest, that still leaves a lot of deadwood.

ı hope Preeeya Can clımb :)

Can i say something? Remember 2 Weeks ago Travie McCoy Peaked At number 10 On Itunes.. The Popularity bar he had was the same difference between them and the wanted now...

Good poınt, never notıced that :)

Iron Maiden have far too big a fanbase.

Their last studio album only entered at 4 with sales of 44k. They haven't topped the chart since 1992

Really hope The Wanted cling on Billionaire hs great lyrics but is a big snooze.Preeya seems to be doing better than expected.

I think the R1 influence is greatly exaggerated they are turning into the home of quirky Indie music which is beginning to dominate current playlists but most of the acts will struggle to go Top 50.

I guess I'll be the only one of this opinion but my favourite #1 of 2010 is Good Times by Roll Deep :D Fireflies and California Gurls follow but the former's a 2009 song for me anyway, the UK got it 6 months after I got bored of it

OMG The Sats are at #79 now in albums

I reckon this is going to be a great Era for them..They are going to have there own TV show on ITV2 which has been confirmed today. As well as shooting a very special advert for Headlines....

Bring on a Number 1 single and Album I say!

Chris.. This is Very,Very,Very Encouraging For The Saturdays. There the top Girlband atm.. I think They will get number 1 just beating Ne-Yo as they will promote alot, alot more. Number 3 album i think.. Still very encouraging. I LOVE THE ALBUM COVER!! it stands out on itunes it really does.

Like I said Travie McCoy would be number 1 on itunes if it wasen't for that thing 2 weeks ago.

I sadly doubt they will get a number 1..Top 3 looks likely though. They just don't get enough sales. Most of this years have sold at least 50k if not more and I don't see that happening for The Sats. I reckon Headlines will go platinum like Chasing Lights though there are some serious Tunes!

'American Gurls'?!

On a seperate note, the British public have hit a new low. The Wanted are truly vile, generic, crap.

My data is combined, one of his versions is at 10., it's just the IKEA Mafia have 3 versions.

I know and it's the combined data which is relevant.

Oh well Enrique has been a shock success this year. Everyone (including me) thought 'I Like It' would barely peak top 10 and then freefall down the chart! ^_^

'All Time Low' is a very average song. So is 'Billionaire' tbh but at least that has a brilliant vocalist. The Wanted just seem like another crappy boyband.

*prepares to be slaughered by TW loons*

I do believe their last album only released in the UK like half way through the chart week, on a Wednesday. I can't remember exactly what it was, but for whatever reason, only half of their actual album sales counted that week or something. The album went gold anyway.

I think they're favourites for the No. 1 album because there's been a huge resurgence in the popularity of hard-rock and metal music over the past few years. Metallica had two weeks at No. 1 with Death Magnetic, AC/DC with Black Ice and even their Greatest Hits Iron Man 2 OST. Plus this week Avenged Sevenfold are looking good for a No. 1 with their new album.

Roll Deep 'Good Times' is probably my favourite number 1 of this year too. Easily. Followed by B.o.B & Bruno, Diana, B.o.B & Hayley, Jason Derulo and then SFG. 'Telephone' got old as soon as it was released, it got so boring and overplayed. Same with Katy Perry. All the rest I like a bit but not overly fussed about them. Most the artists who have reached number 1 have better on their album...
Tbh who can stop The Saturdays going number 1?.. The Wanted will sell big this week and that's it.. they will not be number 1-5 in the next 4 weeks. Travie McCoy defo Not! Flo Rida.. Wont... The only people standing infront of The Saturdays and number 1 are Eminem and NE-YO...
