Posted July 19, 201015 yr Eminem and Yolanda aim for top spots 11:05 | Tuesday July 20, 2010 By Charlotte Otter Source: MW Yolanda Be Cool & D Cup is aiming to knock B.o.B’s Airplanes off the UK singles top spot this weekend as Eminem looks to keep his number one position in the album charts. Singles Meanwhile, the action in the singles chart centres around the scuffle for No.1 one as the All Around The World and Sweat It Out dance act’s single, We Speak No Americano fights their Atlantic-signed competitor in the midweek sales flashes, with Yolanda edging early sales by a matter of a few thousand sales. Elsewhere, Parlophone singer Eliza Doolittle sees her latest release, Pack Up, climb up the Top 10, while Basshunter’s new single, Saturday, is set to debut within the top 20 in what otherwise looks to be a relatively static week for singles. Albums It could be the fourth time in five weeks Polydor’s Eminem will top the album charts, however the US rapper faces stiff competition from his UK rival Professor Green, whose debut, Alive Till I’m Dead is only a few thousand units in sales behind the top slot. The rest of the albums Top 10 sees handful of new entries from RPA & The United Nations of Sound and Seth Lakeman whilst 30H!3 (Atlantic) and Sheryl Crow (Polydor) seek to make an impact within the top 20. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Top 40 Only Singles 1 Yolanda Be Cool & D Cup [~2k ahead] 2 BoB ft. July 20, 201015 yr I have a strange feeling Eliza Doolittle could climb to #1 in the albums. And if iTunes is any indication it could well be Professor Green :/ For singles I reckon: 01. Americano 02. B.o.B 03. Em&Ri 04. Katy 05. Eliza
July 20, 201015 yr It's Pa Pa Americano... edit - it's both. :arrr: Edited July 20, 201015 yr by tonyttt31
July 20, 201015 yr I hope Professor f***ing Green's album flops massively. Have you actually heard it, or are you just judging it by the 2 singles he's released from it so far?
July 20, 201015 yr Have you actually heard it, or are you just judging it by the 2 singles he's released from it so far? Am I really going to be convinced to hear an album which has two of the worst singles of the year on it? He's a prick and I hope he flops. Anyway, poor Diana. Still, at least Jedward are nowhere to be seen.
July 20, 201015 yr Have you actually heard it, or are you just judging it by the 2 singles he's released from it so far? What? His voice is awful. Scheamy chav!
July 20, 201015 yr Professor Green is indeed awful but Diana Vickers is just as talentless. I'm glad she's flopping.
July 20, 201015 yr Am I really going to be convinced to hear an album which has two of the worst singles of the year on it? He's a prick and I hope he flops. How very mature of you. Not that this matters, but his album has so far got all positive reviews from critics, but I take they're all wrong and you're right because he's released 2 questionable singles which means 'he's a prick' and his album deserves to flop. Wow. Go listen to the even-more-annoying voice of Diana Vickers instead. Meanwhile, I rest my case.
