I thought I would make a topic discussing Teenage Dreams because it really is all anyones talking about on the itunes thread :lol:. I personally think this will be a surefire #1 if Taio Cruz' - Dynamite has been pushed back as discussed. Heres the song so get predicting!

I'm predicting #1, and really hoping it'll do it - her two #1s have been awful songs, while this is actually very good.

I say Top 3 at the moment. 'Dynamite' should be higher I think.

 

BTW, I think I might prefer the new song over 'California Gurls'. ^_^

Also, I think this will easily crush Taio even if they're released on the same week.

It's clearly a massive song. Whether the tasteless masses will put Taio ahead of her I don't know but it's a #1 record.

This is absolutely amazing! Whilst I love CG it has nothing on this. CG is a great song to dance to and enjoy the summer with but its gimmicky and following a trend whilst this whilst similar in places is just wonderful <333

 

This will peak no lower than #2 for sure ^_^

Not sure what the obssession with katy perry is atm, i like her, but she doesnt wow me, the lyrics are pretty plain to most of her songs & her voice is average (+she cant sing live), just not sure what the hype around her is. She's a pretty girl though :)

Had one listen last night, and I thought it was ok but that she's had much better singles, so I don't get all the hype. Top 3, though.

 

Also, if Taio Cruz is released the same week, I hope he gets the #1 over Katy. "Dynamite" is much better than this.

I voted #1, i reckon its music video will settle it, it'll probably debut in the Top 10 then climb to #1.

IMO it would be a certain #1 regardless of what Taio Cruz does.

#1 - it would beat 'Dynamite' if released on the same week.
