December 1, 201014 yr Author Combined it's currently #30 on iTunes :( what a drop!!! Anyways, does anyone here know how many copied a #30 sold last week? Some Top 30 figures from last week 20 Saturdays 19,309 21 Westlife 18,090 25 Jesse J 13,121 29 Brett Domino 11,361 33 Usher 7,864 I can't believe the margin of sales between #20 and #25 which is a 6k difference! and the difference between #20 and #30 could be as big as 50%! No midweeks for Headlines at the moment either unfortunately :(
December 2, 201014 yr wont even reach 200k this week :| I'll be suprised if it reaches 300k (I blame NOW Music)
December 2, 201014 yr wont even reach 200k this week :| I'll be suprised if it reaches 300k (I blame NOW Music) Why do you blame 'Now That's What I Call Music'? They actually included 'Higher' on there?! Just because it's falling down doesn't mean it still won't have good sales, it's a very good sales period at this time of the year.
December 2, 201014 yr Exactly. Last weeks sales for that position was because there weren't as many new entries as there are this week. There are loads which climbed above Saturdays this week. I think they're heading for 15-16k this week (i.e. stronger than last weeks song at this position, but still a decrease big enough in sales for 'Higher'). You're all panicking for nothing.
December 2, 201014 yr I'm not panicking! It's just Now Music will take in alot of sales over 300k last week? This will cost them a couple of downloads imo? Since Now music has came out they have fallen down fast.

Since Now music has came out they have fallen down fast. They haven't fallen 'fast'. Yes they are falling, but it's not like they've dropped 20 places. As Jonjo said, there are many new releases this week which have gone above 'Higher', and if anything they might be gaining in sales!
December 2, 201014 yr Last Week They Sold 19k At 20... 30 last week sold 9k atm there 29 on midweek? Sunday They were 22nd on Itunes there 38th so they have dropped an awful lot. Edited December 2, 201014 yr by lee wallace
December 2, 201014 yr Author Last Week They Sold 19k At 20... 30 last week sold 9k atm there 29 on midweek? Sunday They were 22nd on Itunes there 38th so they have dropped an awful lot. Combined it's #31 and #29 midweek. It's fine. And considering there's 11 new releases above them as well..
December 3, 201014 yr it will eventually sell around 270,000 - Higher is one of those songs that will shift like 500 copies per week for a long time after it leaves the charts.
December 3, 201014 yr Author I think it will sell around 230k.. what do use think? I'm not sure. It's Top 40 run wont show anything significant about its Top 100 run. I think it'll stick Top 75 for a while.
