August 30, 201014 yr Although there is currently a lot of intrest in Higher. Might be a good idea releasing it soon, so they capatilalise on this.
August 30, 201014 yr Honest Question.. Girls Aloud and The Saturdays.. There isin't a difference. Girls aloud were getting number ones, but with poor sales. Saturdays i presume will outsell girls aloud with ego or up eventually. The Saturdays Album sales are weaker but it took girls aloud a few albums and xfactor until they managed to get a number one album. What's the question?
August 30, 201014 yr September is too early imo and at least if they release in October.. They will have more chance of getting an X Factor slot (although I can't see it happening) Or maybe they know they won't get a slot and so want to release before Robbie/Gary, Joe etc ? ^and Nat Imbruglia (she's like totally the best one - even if no one has a clue who she is anymore) Oh yeh.. Completely forgot about her

Completely forgot about her  That seems like the most possible answer to me. The video has already been filmed, it should be out quite soon, and then it should start climbing up the chart and get high before all the X Factor releases come out.
August 30, 201014 yr We haven't got the sales for it yet, if we do it will be tomorrow. ;) Thanks :) i was wondering why they werent up :)
August 30, 201014 yr Thanks :) i was wondering why they werent up :) It's because it's the Bank Holiday, so nobody is in the Music Week offices. ;)

The Saturdays Album sales are weaker but it took girls aloud a few albums and xfactor until they managed to get a number one album. Are you really that deluded ? All of the Girls Aloud albums have gone platinium. It didn't take them years and years to be consistent album sellers, even if they didn't reach number 1. GA's second album has sold about 600k and had 5 top5 hits on it. How much has sold 'Wordshaker' again ? And technically their first album to get to #1 was "Sound of Girls Aloud", and it sold over 1 million copies, without the X Factor. So please, don't make a fool of yourself ... I'm not saying The Saturdays will never be huge, but their career so far is nothing close to the Girls Aloud's early career at all.
September 1, 201014 yr Except for the fact that the music is better of course. Putting Flo Rida on Higher is a good decision. The fans will all buy the single despite already having the album version.

For me none of the Sats single can beat 'Sound of the underground', 'No good advice', 'Love machine', 'Biology' and many more. But I won't argue with you on that, it is fine if you like the Sats more ;) (and lee wallace was not talking about the quality of the songs anyway, so you're missing the point of our conversation). It's funny that the fans will buy the version with Flo Rida, after slagging him off so many times for stopping the Sats to number 1.
September 1, 201014 yr You're twisting things. The fans never 'slagged him off', they were just frustrated that he got to #1 twice over them but they pretty much laughed it off. Anything to paint the fans in a bad light eh Bert? But I will give you that none of the Sats' singles thus far have matched up to The Show for example... but then the first three GA albums were singles + pure filler the rest of the way whereas the Sats' albums (which also having some filler) have less. But I've warmed to the Sats in a way I never could to GA so they have the advantage for me.
September 1, 201014 yr Yes I may have a wrong image of the Sats fans in my head (mainly because I don't know a lot of them lol), but some on here are quite deluded. Calling 'Chemistry' an album with fillers is sooo wrong though ^_^ It was a pop masterpiece, and the first of their albums to get rave reviews from critics, right, left and centre. 'What will the neighboors say?!" is still a guilty pleasure of mine. The 5 singles are great and tracks like 'Grafitti my soul', 'Deadlines & diets', 'Here we go' and 'Big brother' are pop delights for me. I agree 'Sound of the underground' wasn't impressive at all though, mainly because it sounds very dated now. I never listen back to it, and I'm glad I only discovered them with 'Wake me up'!

September 1, 201014 yr Im all for Flo Rida's appearance myself, his rap on Alexandra Burke's Bad Boys was great and whilst they arent being hugely original and are being acused of being sellouts here, anything that will get Higher a better peaking posistion is all good imo. I dont any Saturdays fan have slagged Flo Rida off that many times, and even if they have, last I checked people were allowed to dislike artists.

September 1, 201014 yr Oh, it can go either way, be really food, or rubbish like the Pro green on missing you (Y) :) Also, do girls aloud not have there own forum....

So, again you're hardly making a fair comparison when you compare GA to ANY other girl groups just starting out. (Not just The Saturdays) You fascinate me so much Bertie. You really do
