July 30, 201014 yr yes, that's what I meant  I think I used to call it breakers :drama: Oh :( I loved Addiction and Execute Me, as you can see as they're in my chart! Gutter is pretty bland though, at least we're agreed there ^_^ Teenage Dream is very very highly anticipated by me (and the rest of BuzzJack :kink:). One Of The Boys was my 2nd favourite album of 2008 after Alphabeat's debut  She was amazing live when I saw her last summer too, so stunning, and I was only about 4 rows back :D I see now. :P Dementia getting to you in your old age? :( :kink: 'Execute Me' is literally awful - I can't believe you're charting it. :( But yay for one agreement. :kink: As it is by me! ^_^ I love parts of 'One Of The Boys', but there's quite a bit of filler, so I'd never call it one of my favourite albums. :P 'Out Of Control' was (obviously) my favourite of 2008 though - if you're interested. :kink: I'd love to see Katy live, I can imagine she connects with the audience really well. 4 rows back is great! :o I've never been that close to an artist live.

It's great, I don't see why you hate it so much, it's similar to other tracks sound wise  I don't hate Gutter, I just forget that I'm listening to it when it comes on - completely forgettable... I think I actually charted 10 of the 12 tracks in my singles chart :o All 4 singles obviously as well as Self Inflicted (which went to #1 in my chart :o), Lost, UR So Gay, Mannequin, If You Can Afford Me and One Of The Boys...love everything apart from the final 2 tracks which were nice enough. Out Of Control was 7th or 8th in mine - brilliant album though, you know my thoughts on it already, and it's chart dominating ways with them taking over my singles top 3 one week  She was amazing with the audience  Very charismatic and fun. I've been right at the front for quite a few - Alphabeat, The Pipettes...
July 30, 201014 yr I saw Alesha from the front row, we had a chat, I got her to sing another chorus of 'The Boy Does Nothing', no biggie. ^_^
July 30, 201014 yr Rich, here's what I like: 2. Kylie Minogue - All The Lovers (2) (CR-9-1-3-3-2-1-2-1-1-1-2-2) 3. Stromae - Alors On Danse (15) (CR-41-39-25-18-12-9-8-9-13-17-OUT-19-12-23-18-14-15-3) 4. Yolanda Be Cool & D Cup - We No Speak Americano (3) (CR-41-31-9-14-6-6-3-4) 7. Kylie Minogue - Get Outta My Way (4) (CR-3-2-4-4-7) 8. Katy Perry - Teenage Dream (30) (CR-30-8) 9. Sky Ferreira - One (17) (CR-25-17-9) 11. Mark Ronson and The Business Intl - Bang Bang Bang (8) (CR-19-11-15-17-17-22-13-10-8-11) 13. The Naked & Famous - Young Blood (5) (CR-7-3-2-5-13) 14. Swedish House Mafia feat Pharrell - One (Your Name) (23) (CR-45-44-50-35-39-23-14) 16. The Hoosiers - Choices (22) (CR-46-22-16) 17. Robyn - Hang With Me (33) (CR-33-17) 18. Ace Of Base - All For You (40) (CR-40-18) 20. Eliza Doolittle - Pack Up (11) (CR-30-20-14-18-19-5-11-20) 22. Lena Meyer-Landrut - Satellite (20) (CR-5-5-1-1-1-2-1-1-1-2-1-1-1-2-3-4-7-12-20-22) Longest Runner 25. Marina & The Diamonds - Oh No! (31) (CR-50-40-OUT-42-33-38-37-29-24-31-25) 29. Lissie - Cuckoo (35) (CR-35-29) 30. Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are (43) (CR-43-30) 2) 33. Tinchy Stryder - In My System (28) (CR-41-39-40-42-28-28-33) 40. Brandon Flowers - Crossfire (49) (CR-49-40) 45. HURTS - Wonderful Life (50) (CR-2-4-5-10-15-23-31-OUT-50-45) Glad to see you like Teenage Dream, I'm thinking it's going to be the 'Hot N Cold' of this era for her. Nice jump for Robyn, she hasn't released a bad single since her comeback. Oh, I haven't heard the new KT Tunstall! I hope it's good... Great chart as always!
July 30, 201014 yr I've been listening to it loads this week, added to the fact that I decided that #8 was a dire peak for something that's inside my top 20 YTD, so I thought I'd boost it up a bit :heehee: I still have hopes that it will be a UK hit but isn't it released in two weeks or something :drama: It was posted in the 'Alors On Danse' thread that the "release date" had been pushed back to 6th September. Not too sure if that was true as no source was given. Gonna comment on some more new releases I've heard: 9. Sky Ferreira - One (17) (CR-25-17-9) I was wondering who Sky Ferreira was after seeing 'One' getting hyped up a bit on Buzzjack. Had a listen to the song and it is very much a "Buzzjack" song. I do get the impression this track would've done well last year when the whole female artist synth pop buzz was happening. Sky might end up looking like a wannabe La Roux or Little Boots. 10. The Saturdays - Missing You (12) (CR-32-26-17-12-10) Always hit n' miss for me but 'Missing You' is one of my fave songs by The Saturdays. 'Up' is still their most successful followed by 'Ego' but I can see this doing well for me. 14. Swedish House Mafia feat Pharrell - One (Your Name) (23) (CR-45-44-50-35-39-23-14) Really wasn't sure about this at first but it just niggles away at the brain. Now I think it's quite good - not brilliant though. 16. The Hoosiers - Choices (22) (CR-46-22-16) Without a shadow of a doubt their best single to date. If there's any justice, the Great British music buying public will get this to no. 1 - well, if they can get Scouting For Girls no. 1 with a non-song then why not? :P If not, I fear the Grate British music buyers will send Ne-Yo to no. 1  Great Vs Grate - which one are you? :w00t: 25. Marina & The Diamonds - Oh No! (31) (CR-50-40-OUT-42-33-38-37-29-24-31-25) After 'Hollywood' got to no. 2 in my chart, 'Oh No!' would have a good chance of equalling this peak but going off what's currently charting for me (quite a few strong tracks around) I suspect it will peak a fair bit lower. 27. Taio Cruz - Dynamite (27) (CR-47-OUT-39-27-27-27) How strange that 'Break Your Heart' has turned Taio Cruz into a global superstar. I never got the big deal with that track yet follow singles 'Dirty Picture' and 'Dynamite' won't be anywhere as successful yet, imo, are much better tracks. 33. Tinchy Stryder - In My System (28) (CR-41-39-40-42-28-28-33) Bizarrely, this is verging on becoming my fave Tinchy single. 'Never Leave You' is currently Tinchy's biggest hit in my chart. I reckon 'In My System' will be about as successful in my chart. 35. The Wanted - All Time Low (Re-entry) (CR-32-30-32-OUT-35) After the horror that was 'The Club Is Alive', JLS have made this song tolerable. Is it worthy of being no. 1 in the UK? No!!! Is it the worst UK no. 1 of 2010 so far? No. So overall not bad. :P 40. Brandon Flowers - Crossfire (49) (CR-49-40) Here's a new release I'm liking loads at the moment and can easily see doing well in my personal chart. The Killers 'Human' spent 6 weeks at no. 1 in my chart in 2008 and just pipped Duffy 'Mercy' to the post to become my no. 1 single of 2008. Whether Brandon Flowers is looking set for similar success in my chart in the next few months is left to be seen. ^_^ 41. Usher feat Pitbull - DJ Got Us Falling In Love (29) (CR-36-29-41) I actually like this song. Far more tolerable than 'OMG' which took an age for me to like. As you know 'OMG' finally entered my chart last weekend but Usher's new single will definitely be the bigger hit. 45. HURTS - Wonderful Life (50) (CR-2-4-5-10-15-23-31-OUT-50-45) Already one of my no. 1 hits of 2010 - would really like to see 'Wonderful Life' become a hit in the UK. Added to Radio 1's playlists so will be interesting to see how this pans out. 47. Flo Rida - Club Can’t Handle Me (Re-entry) (CR-43-22-33-46-43-47-OUT-47) I will admit I quite like this but it is still a complete rip off of 'I Gotta Feeling'.
July 30, 201014 yr Evening Rich :) 1. Roll Deep - Green Light (1) (CR-18-10-5-3-1-1) 2. Kylie Minogue - All The Lovers (2) (CR-9-1-3-3-2-1-2-1-1-1-2-2) 3. Agnes & Björn - When You Tell The World You’re Mine (18) (CR-6-9-10-13-18-28) 29. Lissie - Cuckoo (35) (CR-35-29) 30. Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are (43) (CR-43-30) 32. Flo Rida - Club Can’t Handle Me (Re-entry) (CR-43-22-33-46-43-47-OUT-47) Never mind James asking where Mohombi is...Belle is still charting, and that's what matters  A smaller drop for Lena :D After your request for her to be #20 in my next chart (you'll see on Sunday as to whether I followed through), I would like to request that she goes top 10 again in your chart, so I can copy that :heehee:
July 31, 201014 yr Hello there! This are my favorites; 2. Kylie Minogue - All The Lovers (2) (CR-9-1-3-3-2-1-2-1-1-1-2-2) 5. Jason DeRülo - What If (6) (CR-43-OUT-42-34-21-9-6-5) 8. Taio Cruz - Dynamite (27) (CR-47-OUT-39-27-27-27) I really love this song; needs to go much higher then 27. 41. Usher feat Pitbull - DJ Got Us Falling In Love (29) (CR-36-29-41) 42. Alesha Dixon - Drummer Boy (NEW) (CR-42) Starting to like this song; though I think it needs to grow on me a little bit more before it enters my chart! 47. Flo Rida - Club Can’t Handle Me (Re-entry) (CR-43-22-33-46-43-47-OUT-47) 48. Jay Sean - 2012 (NEW) (CR-48) Bubbling Under > Alexandra Burke - Start Without You Awesome song; needs to make a debut next week.

Agreed about Robyn, she's just un-hateable  That said, had she released None Of Dem as a single I wouldn't have been too impressed. I'm not sure if the KT song is a new single, but probably just a track from her new album. It's not outstanding but as an album track it would be good enough. I really hope that Stromae is pushed back, I can't handle it flopping hard - it's slightly superior to Yolanda Be Cool imo so deserves as much success. 9. Yeah I actually have no idea who she is but the song's a real grower. I'm guessing it will be a top 20 hit in the UK with Radio 1 behind it... 10. It's certainly better than the likes of Forever Is Over and Work but it remains to be seen how much higher it will go or me... 16. Definitely agree - all of their 2007 material was bloody awful. Beautiful Monster is ok but he's had so much better and I'd be a bit annoyed if it went to #1 over this. I never thought I'd favour The Hoosiers over Ne-Yo  25. I much prefer this song to I Am Not A Robot. Not quite as good as Hollywood but I think she does the quirky uptempo pop better than ballads personally. 27. Agreed, Break Your Heart only got to #45 in my chart I think  That said, Dynamite is already top 5 in the US and smashing elsewhere so maybe it will be as big!?! 33. All of his singles last year went top ten for me so this is my least favourite of his but it's still a decent enough effort. He just seems 'so 2009'. 35. I like the song - ok it's not #1 material but as far as boybands go there are far worse  Any song with strings gets a thumbs up from me! 41/47. Both of these are incredibly generic but will be huge hits in the UK. In my chart I doubt either will go much further. I like both of them but that's as far as it goes. Evening Rich :) 1. Roll Deep - Green Light (1) (CR-18-10-5-3-1-1) 2. Kylie Minogue - All The Lovers (2) (CR-9-1-3-3-2-1-2-1-1-1-2-2) 3. She won't be going top ten again though  Not until she releases her 2011 ESC entry anyway :w00t: Hello there! This are my favorites; 2. July 31, 201014 yr Clearly  :( DISAGREE! I don't know either. :( It'll probably grow on me though. Probably the same reason as you and 'Gutter' though. :P Wow! :o The album I downloaded doesn't have 'Self Inflicted' on it, so I can't judge. :P I don't like 'Ur So Gay', 'Lost' or 'I'm Still Breathing'; but I pretty much love the rest. :D 7th is good. :P Iirc - that's where it was on the year-end album chart, which I never expected! What songs did Katy perform? :) I hope she tours 'Teenage Dream' near me this/next year. :D

I often find myself drifting off towards the end of any album so the final few tracks lose my full attention sometimes  hence why I've started listening to albums in shuffle mode these days to give every song a fair chance :D Didn't have Self Inflicted on it? :o Here it is for your pleasure; qZdn7v5pSdQ I can count on one hand the amount of times an album track has topped my chart so I obviously loved this song very much indeed  She performed the entire album plus a few covers (Build Me Up Buttercup was one, can't remember the others). She's definitely worth seeing live, and even though she gets criticised for her live vocals sometimes, she was note perfect when I saw her

I haven't heard the original 'Build Me Up Buttercup', but I saw McFly and Busted perform it live together once (when I was like 9 :kink:) and it was good. :) Why does she get criticised!? :o Anyway - I prefer more of a show than for the artist to just have perfect vocals and not do much - another reason to love Girls Aloud. :kink:

I'm still loving it, I never tend to overplay songs for fear of wearing them out too soon - look at how well Green Light has done in my chart - I've only ever played it 25 times  And I only play All The Lovers maybe 3 or 4 times a week but along with hearing it on the radio a few times, it's enough to appreciate it  8. Yep, it's a really great song, she clearly never does any wrong  Hope her new album's as good as One Of The Boys! 19. It is incredibly good. I didn't listen to it even once I don't think last week, hence the fall... 23. The album's fantastic, highly recommended 26. Strange  I've completely stopped listening to it now... 30. I think it will go higher too, I love it :o Very good solo debut single! 39/40. They might go a bit higher - Brandon has better prospects to. I'm surprised you love I Need Air so much, maybe it will be another Pjanoo for you and disappear as quickly as it came in :kink: I like it but it's a solid 8 or 8.5/10 sort of song for me, nothing sensational but always a pleasant listen.

I really hope so too. The main thing I'm hoping though is, the album has longer appeal than Ke$ha's did. Seeing as she seems to be going, sort of down the Ke$ha route (except doing it a thousand times better atm) 30. Wow. His voice is brilliant, I really love it. I know this is basically 'Nothin' On You' (part 2), but it's still pretty amazing. 39/40. Yeah, it's completely blew me. I didn't think I'd love it quite as much as I do, but it's immense. I hope you're wrong about it being the new 'Pjanoo'. So far you are, as I'm not getting bored of it at the moment  But who knows...

Very true, Animal was brilliant for a month and then wore off very quickly...I think it will be better personally, she's not as much of a one trick pony as Ke$ha. Just compare Thinking Of You, I Kissed A Girl, California Gurls and Teenage Dream - all very different. Compare all of Ke$ha's singles, and featured singles and they're practically all the same  30. Agreed. It actually reminds me in places melodically of Doesn't Mean Anything by Alicia Keys. Love it though! 39/40. That's good at least, glad to hear you're not getting bored of it! It entered my chart a few weeks back originally when I first heard it but needless to say I didn't think it was going anywhere near the UK top ten

Although I personally wouldn't say 'California Gurls' and 'Teenage Dream' were that different :heehee: Considering TD is basically a slower version. Haha. But TBF to Katy, she did start the whole trashy voice sorta thing. (Do you get what I mean?) Remember when everyone thought it was Katy Perry and not Ke$ha on 'Right Round'? 30. Yes I remember you saying that the other week and I agree. It does have a 'Doesn't Mean Anything' vibe to it. 39/40. I thought it'd be one of those tracks that Radio 1 would love to death, but actually get nowhere. I'm pleased it went top 10 as fast as it did though as I probably wouldn't have checked it out otherwise! It's amazing on a night out though. I heard it on Friday and it was mental!
