Obvious that would be the date. Why not though with how well it launched the second series!

The way they confirmed that it was the date *.*

I'm actually gonna try and watch this series. I've never really been into it, but it's MOFFAT so I'm gonna watch series 1 and 2 before this goes out.

Lars Mikkelsen?! *.*

I'm not sure when I was last this excited about a tv-show, can hardly wait.

I don't think they'll bother to explain it categorically- which is perhaps the right thing?!
So Sherlock jumped on to a giant bean bag. Not sure if serious.

Well... that was my first initial reaction, and than swap bodies.

Anyhow... the rest of the episode was brilliant executed.

They said there was 13 different ways out, and they showed 3 of them, and hinted about another 2. Guess they might actually tell us at some point, but they'd never be able to please everyone so showing the different ways it COULD have happened, instead of what actually happened seems a good assumption to make. Not that it really matters.

The Guardian's first look review sums up what I thought really.

They realised they were never going to please everyone and I think it was very well handled - almost playing on the hype and expectation.

The actual mystery seemed like an afterthought in the end but that couldn't be avoided.

I actually thought this bean bag thing was true when they showed it! Looked plausible enough.

Great episode. I LOVE the tube so it was particularly interesting to me haha. Oh and it was SO obvious Sherlock was trolling for John's reaction when they were in the tube carriage! Ha.

I think the inflatable thing was true!

(Primarily because it almost perfectly fitted my guess on page 2!)

I loved this episode in so many ways, some of the groom speech was hilarious, and the part where they were drunk... absolute class
It was a bit slow in places, but another enjoyable episode. It just felt completely unconnected to the previous episode though!

The narrative was so messed up in places. It just felt like an attempt to be 'LOOK HOW CLEVER WE ARE'. I thought it was interesting, it was still a case episode, but it really played on the fact Sherlock was now a third (or fourth) wheel. The final third was really good once all the plot devices came together. Can't believe the series is nearly over, it's barely even started!
Gave up on it after half an hour to watch a film on ITV3 as nothing much was happening. Shopuld have stuck with it then. I-Player here I come then!
This episode dragged so much. I liked the ending/conclusion etc. but there was far too many chopped up scenes during Sherlock's wedding speech. I really hope next week's finale is actually worth it because otherwise this series is just a wasted opportunity.

Well, I personally found this episode their best to-date. Finally really saw that Sherlock needs John more than the other way round, even without Mary. A lot of funny scenes and Sherlock's speech before realisation was all kinds of amazing.

I, too, cannot believe the next episode is the last one this season! There must be a LOT happening there I guess. WHERE THE HELL IS LARS THOUGH?!

OMG! Such a great ending and final episode to the series! I think I'm going to be on a come down for a while after that episode...
