This comes as no real surprise, I’d say it’s the only track which barely ever seems to get a mention when people list their favourites. It did however still manage to get a 10 and three 9’s but also had a -1 to deal with, being one of only two tracks in the rate to get one. I like the song myself, but can take it or leave it most of the time. August 5, 201014 yr Author 011 Deeper (149 Points) http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_yHFrOtUsKOo/Su53plTPA0I/AAAAAAAAIH8/MODzbEYiT7U/s200/gabecoded.jpg I’ve always seen Deeper as the love/hate song of the album, there’s plenty calling for it to be a single whilst others think it would ruin whatever chances The Saturdays have of chart success and credibility. For me, Deeper is one of the lowlights of the album, it sounds quite dated when compared to some of the other more superior tracks, and at time slips dangerously into being an extremely cheesy song. Clearly some disagree as it did receiver plenty of high scores but was pulled down by the lower ones. August 5, 201014 yr Author 010 Denial (149.5 Points) http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_yHFrOtUsKOo/SwORXrnLWhI/AAAAAAAAI0E/Bd2Rra9aKoo/s200/denial.png For me personally, this is the weakest track on the album. It just sort of limps by rather un-noticed, and is quite a disappointment considering it follow the greats like Wordshaker and One Shot. It’s a nice enough effort, but I almost feel like it should be B-Side material instead, or at least be stuck somewhere lower down the tracklisting. On the positive however, it has it’s moments of being quite good, and Una in particular shines on this track. It does strangely enough though, have it’s fans having received three 10’s and three 9’s but thankfully also received numerous lower marks.
