Yes, the guy who Professor Green tricked into featuring on that awful excuse for a song ('I Need You Tonight') is bringing out a solo single! Think of Ed as a good version of Labrinth. Anyway - here's the demo of his new single, 'Champagne Lemonade' which sounds pretty amazing! :D Popjustice have written a short review of him too and he features in the Popjustice Almighty top five! :o

I wasn't exactly in a rush to hear this after he featured on the aformentioned worst song of the year, but this is indeed very good!

I quite like it. Just what I expect from him after the (IMO) awesome 'I Need You Tonight'.

This man and Labrinth (who became quite known because of 'Frisky') seems to have a lot of potential. Good luck to them!

Ed has a very good voice, however I think this track is quite weak for him :( Maybe it'll grow. Well, hopefully.

Was expecting so little from this, but the production is AMAZING, and it's really well written. Was he really tricked into appearing on I Need You Tonight? I hope he was tbh

Sorry to drag this out

I've been reading about a 5 track sampler from his album, is it on the web to listen to? If so can I have a link?

Also, when is the album coming out?

I just listened to this/watched the video for the first time and while 'I Need You Tonight' (the track he featured on) is by far the worst song of the year, this is excellent! He is pretty gorgeous too.

Shame it did nothing. :(

5-Track sampler has leaked, including 'Parallels' and 'Champagne Lemonade'!

01. Parallels

02. Vital Signs

03. Better Days

04. Champagne Lemonade

05. Keep Me In Mind

There is also a track on youtube called Blink which is f***ing awesome.

Keep Me In Mind and Parallels are the best from the sampler

I've just fell in love with him.

Loving the album sampler.

Parallels and Vital Signs are favourites. Keep me In Mind is also great. And Better Days. And Champagne is the monster hit that never was...

Hoping to hear more from him soon, great writing and production!
