December 18, 201014 yr Roma v Shakhtar Donestk AC Milan v Tottenham Marseille v Man United FC Copenhagen v Chelsea Arsenal v Barcelona Inter Milan v Bayern Munich Valencia v FC Schalke 04 Lyon v Real Madrid Want Lyon to win but I can't see lightning striking twice! I do fancy Spurs to do the biz against AC though, as long as they don't go in 4-0 down at HT at the San Siro again.
December 19, 201014 yr Hmm Spurs and Arsenal got the ttwo toughest draws they could have got. Can't see Arsenal going through, but you never know, stranger things have happened. I'd expect Arsenal to win at the Emirates, but to get comfortably beaten at Nou Camp.
March 8, 201114 yr Awful decision giving RVP a second yellow, but Barcelona were the better team throughout the whole match and deserved to go through & LOL at "0 Arsenal attempts"
March 9, 201114 yr Disappointing for Arsenal and their supporters, but I have to ask whether Fabregas is 100% behind Arsenal's cause? If it were any other player who made that error with the back pass I wouldn't ask this. But a player who is rumoured to want to go to Barcelona making a mistake in a match with Barcelona begs the question.
March 9, 201114 yr THe ref obviously the 12th man for Barca. Yes Barca were the better team no doubt, but that doesn't always win matches. Had Van Persie been on the pitch (as he should have been!) I would have fancied him to put away that Bendtner effort on the socring form he is at the moment, and that would have been Barca out. Although I do have to lol at the 0 on shots :heehee:

But a player who is rumoured to want to go to Barcelona making a mistake in a match with Barcelona begs the question. He clearly was not fit. But he's such a huge player for Arsenal that Wenger had to take a gamble. In hindsight it was the wrong gamble. He'd just come back from a hamstring (I think?) injury, he was probably 60-70% fit at best. Jack Wilshere is going to become some player though. However, I don't like how players start playing regularly when they're so young, it's not good for them in the long term.
March 9, 201114 yr I thought Djorou had another good game yesterday, I think he's a top defender and saves Arsenal at times. Squillaci is dreadful and Koscielny is very erratic to say the least.

There's certainly a long list of players who were very promising as teenagers but went on to disappoint. However, there are others like Ryan Giggs who have done very well while Fabregas looks like being a great player for years to come.
March 10, 201114 yr I thought Djorou had another good game yesterday, I think he's a top defender and saves Arsenal at times. Squillaci is dreadful and Koscielny is very erratic to say the least. Arsenal's defence is kind of $h!te though. Sagna is good, and so is Clichy, but their centre-backs are utter crap. Vermalen (sp?) is half-decent, but if he didn't score all those goals in his first season then I don't think he would be getting the praise he is doing. But the back five players is still a area where Arsenal are incredibly weak imo. Saying that their midfield is the best in the league. Giggs is a model professional though, and he was brought in pre-SKY football era. He looks after himself well, just like Sheringham did but 18 years ago, they don't play anywhere near as much football as they do now. Players muscles still haven't developed properly which is why a lot of brilliant players pick up a lot of injuries as they get older, usually in their hamstrings. The list is endless. I mean J.Cole, Owen, (Gerrard to a degree), Torres etc. - Fabregas and Rooney both seem to the next casualties. The latter definitely.
March 18, 201114 yr YESTERDAY WAS THIRST-DAY THIRST-DAY Liverpool got knocked out of Europe by a non-entity FUN FUN FUN FUN ME ME ME SO EXCITED Best defeat ever. *gets coat*
April 5, 201114 yr  Inter and :( Spurs, there goes my prediction of Spurs winning the tie. At least score at White Hart Lane please!
April 5, 201114 yr Well, well done to Spurs for getting this far, but they just got what I thought they would - a real drubbing. Imo it's Real Madrid's year this year. Gareth Bale is over-hyped to the max. Good player, but he's not this absolute world beater he'd made out to be because he scored a hattrick against Inter Milan. It's times like this I wish Craig was here "peter crouch you big lanky c**t :@:@:@:@:@::@:@"!!!!!"
April 5, 201114 yr Bale clearly wasn't fully fit tonight. As for Crouch, what an absolute dolt. Next Wednesday's second legs don't look like being very exciting.
