Most streamed albums of 2011 on Spotify yesterday:

#1 Adele - 21: 3,390,678

#2 Lady Gaga - Born This Way: 2,353,394

The top 2 best-selling albums of 2011 are still rocking in the streaming era

21 truly overshadowed BTW and continues to do som BTW needed better singles, no Steps Lite Cheese, and better marketing.

Born This Way (4.6M) was the most streamed 2011 album yesterday on Spotify, surpassing Adele's 21 (4.3M) :cheeseblock:
This album's resurgence over the past few years makes me so happy. It's my favourite album by her and I always thought it would remain a cult classic amongst her stans but now it's become so much more than that!

This has been on a complete repeat psst couple of weeks. Hate to admit but Marry The Night has got into my brain from the 2.10 mark it actually is very euphoric and solid. I think the problem in hindsight has always been the verses

Wow 14 years :drama: I was in secondary school at the time and a couple of others in my friendship group were also big Gaga fans, so I remember us all buzzing about it at school. I swiftly downloaded 'Born This Way' and absolutely hammered it on my iPod for several days - the hype was massive <3
It pains me to say I never appreciated BTW (the song) for what it was at the time. Judas, on the other hand, I stanned hard!

Born This Way (song) has became a stable tune for me, and like Scene, it grew and grew as the years gone by (I still stanned hard for it during initial release but it’s aged so well even to present day).

Marry the Night remains an overrated song and my opinion on that hasn’t changed since day 1 (apart from the outro which is iconic) :gaga:.

I remember getting into Marry the Night when one of its remixes were an iTunes free track of the week (remember those?)... it was basically a sped-up version of the original and it POPPED. Still think I'd rank Judas, Edge of Glory and You And I over it though. The singles from this era were just sublime.
