October 25, 201014 yr Found this on Someone Wake Me Up performance from his album. This is a great song! This should have been released first. Looks like Joe should be proud of this album. Sounds like a very solid pop album. Edited October 25, 201014 yr by jonmove
October 26, 201014 yr Bought this today. Sounds ok on first listen, I'm already very familiar with all of the originals of the covers on here... Farenheit is soooo Melodifestivalen - Rongedal/Neo to be precise, but Mika/Scissor Sisters obviously spring to mind as well.
October 26, 201014 yr This album is surprising me, it's actually very good. And even though it's practically schizophrenic in nature (there's hyperactive songs like 'Real Late Starter' and the magnificent 'Fahrenheit', and then there's songs like the wonderful 'Smile' and 'Superman'), it's a very solid effort. Before this album, I thought nothing of Joe McElderry, 'Wide Awake' has proven me I should give him some credit.
October 26, 201014 yr He sounds so GAY. I know he is but it seems thhe voice, the songs EVERYTHING about this album has been exemplified to reflect his sexuality. Whilst I agree, you should find a way to get over that. There's nothing wrong with sounding "GAY".
October 27, 201014 yr I listened to this yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised to. I like Joe but even after Ambitions I was expecting the album to be full of bland ballads. It's a shame there's so many covers on it but it's still quite a refreshingly fun pop record. I just can't believe I like something my mum brought   Edited October 27, 201014 yr by Swagger91
October 27, 201014 yr Someone Wake Me Up confirmed as the second single, with no release date as yet (yeah, Syco wan't to see how the album fairs first). :P
October 29, 201014 yr 'Fahrenheit' must be a single. It has a huge pop chorus. (L) Really surprised how good this song is. Didn't think much of it from the preview, but listening it full, I really really like it and love the production for it. I agree - it should be a single. Maybe for the Bee Gee's movie!
November 2, 201014 yr Re-Listening to 'Someone Wake Me Up', and the more I listen to it, the more it sounds like 'Teenage Dream' by Katy Perry. Great choice of 2nd single, but it should keep the album selling even if the single will bomb :(
November 3, 201014 yr someone wake me up is a class tune. i canny stop listening to it! brill follow up
November 3, 201014 yr 'Someone Wake Me Up' is the only track (apart from Ambitions) that I've managed to listen to, due to lack of fast internet, but I really love it already. Better than 'Ambitions'. I haven't heard the other tracks, but I don't know why it wasn't lead single :(
November 5, 201014 yr It looks like Joe was chosen to do the title track for the new Narnia movie. Good publicity for him as well as this album with the second single added to his performance. From his website: Joe was approached by Twentieth Century Fox to record the specially written track, ‘There’s a place for us’, written by American songstress Carrie Underwood, which will feature in the film released later in the year. The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader, is the latest installment of the Narnia saga. Filmed in digital 3D, the exciting new chapter is set to be the biggest blockbuster of 2010. Joe will also attend The Royal Film Performance and World Premiere of the film in Leicester Square on November 30th and also switch on the Regent Street lights on November 9th So this Tuesday, November 9th, he will be performing this title track and will also be performing his second single "Someone Wake Me Up". Wow, I am happy for Joe. :D Edited November 5, 201014 yr by jonmove

If it's written by Carrie Underwood I can see her performing it on the American release.

November 5, 201014 yr Who are they trying to kid? The biggest blockbuster of 2010 will surely by Harry Potter. Haha! I don't know; I was actually disappointed with the last Harry Potter (definitely not the blockbuster) and can't believe they are breaking this one into two parts. On the other hand, I am really excited for the Narnia one because this book of the series is one of the best if not the best one.
November 9, 201014 yr I don't understand what he was doing for the whole year, half his album are like covers  I like them though but still, its as if they just made him wait till the finals started.

They have timed the release with the x factor show, hoping he will do well, but his album has fallen really quick like the single. He won't be around in 12 months time and will quickly follow the pattern of several other x factor fellow contestants including Steve Brookstein and Leon Jackson.
