Where did Leona peak with Stop Crying last year?

#29 officially, I believe.

~#19 on iTunes.

That is incredible. I wonder if there is a chance this year they'll clear 20 million?

And thanks Sceneofsixcrimes

How many episodes of x factor did Ms Tweedy skip?

She was there with Pixie, Katy and I think Natalie Imbruglia too, so I think she missed the ones with Nicole. And bootcamps then.

Peaked at #29 individually, but that week the performance made Echo sell over 100,000 copies in one week I believe. :o :D

Performers that look likely to perform on xfactors due to songs

4th October

Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams - Shine

Maybe Joe?

11th October

Taylor Swift - Mine

Pixie Lott - Broken Arrow

Other people... The Saturdays, Miley Cyrus, Nadine Coyle, Olly Murs, Mcfly, Kelly Rowland, Alica Keys (she realises L.O.V.E on 25th october)

Leona!

While SCYHO should never be a single, I hope it's used extensively on XF - it needs to get into the top 40 again! :kink:

It won't remain top 40 by the end of the week on the official charts, but it could maybe sneak into the top 40 in Tuesday's and Wednesday's mids. If it is in Wednesday's, will Radio 1 DEFINITELY have to play it?

Joe will definitely perform on the first show.

Haha you really have no idea how it works, do you?

Firstly, the lives normally start around mid October so 11th will be most likely. Joe performing on the first live show is a given (look at Leona, Leon and Alex).

The Sats and McFly most probably will never get a slot on XF. The Sats aren't a big enough name and McFly, just no. I think you could be right about K.Row, Alicia and Miley though. Simon loves them. Nadine could due to the Cheryl link but I doubt it for some reason. Also note that Simon very rarely gets an artist that isn't signed to Sony to perform. Rihanna's the only one I can think of.

I'm hoping Taylor mentors in the first week. It would be refreshing to have her on there performing. Pixie could too though. I think TT will be on the week their album drops (if they've recorded one ).

I think so. Expect the Live Lounge version though. :) I hope it can make Wednesday's mids then. Just to hear it would be amazing. Although I'm not sure if they have to play every re/new entry. Maybe they do along with the midweek #1?

Isn't it a bit late for Taylor?

Robbie and Gary will sing SHAME ;) if they are on. Simon has been triumphant for persuading TT&Robbie to perform on the show. He will either have Gary& Robbie on the first week and then all TT later this season or he will save all 5 for christmas (not going to help Rob's GH this way I doubt he would agree). Wouldn't both scenarios put them against the XF winners though?

Joes' single is released 11th October, so the first live show will most likely be the 9th

& then he will perform on the 10th

I'm pretty sure his album is now being released on 25th October, so its possible they could move his single release date a week back

Hes done it before with Robbie and Alex, so I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again

I know but the odds are against him this time ;)

Joe has already 'suffered' to get to no1 with the climb :D :P and there is little chance he will even come close to Leona or Alexandra.

I think I will be happy to see them deny the XF no1 single (and album later on) anyway

Surely Robbie and Gary have the #1 wrapped up before we've even heard it!

It's certainly gonna be an interesting ride when October starts into christmas

Why would they definitely have to play it? There' going to be loads of new entries this week, and they won't have time to play them all in half an hour, so I'm expecting them just to play the highest new entries, which Leona probably won't be one of (plus it's a re-entry, so they would probably only play it if there wasn't enough new entries to fill up the show).
