Today, August 20th, Ou Est Le Swimming Pool singer Charlie Haddon committed suicide. Just after the performance of his band at the Pukkelpop festival in Belgium, he ended is life on a nearby parking lot, the festival organization confirmed in a press conference. Haddon made a fatal jump of a mast at the artist parking area.

The debut album of the London based band, ‘Christ Died For Our Synths’, would be released in October.

Good heavens this is dreadful, I think he's younger than me as well, and my brother was about to see them play at a festival in France. Why do people feel the need to do such things? There's no problem that can't be solved by just talking to someone.

Something tells me that when (or if) 'Christ Died for Our Synths' gets released, they will change the title beforehand.

Yep, REALLY unforuntate album title :(

Anyway, it's really sad. I'm not convinced it was deliberate though, why would you do something like that?

That's horrific!!! :| I was going to see them in October. Such sad news. :(
Ouch. I have little respect for people that take their own life... but its still terrible.

That's a bit simplistic.

Respect is the last thing on their mind.
