I agree with this completely, except I'd say "Rude Boy" is her worst single by a mile

I'm with Cremey and co, I like it and it it's obviously a strong song but I prefer her 'Rated R' sound :(. She was on top form though, but it does sound like a proper grower so we'll see.

I give it 3 days maximum until Jack is bumming it to the high heavens.

On first listen: meh. It starts off alright with that obvious rip-off of 'Sexy Bitch' backing music, but that chorus is far too nasal for me. :puke: It does sound like it'll grow though, so I'll reserve final judgement for now.

But, yep im still loving this. Hope its a big hit for her.

Don't like Only Girl. In the past Rihanna sometimes knew to get to me with some of her songs (and Rude Boy is really the greatest example of this), but this song is really bad. She's trying to mix some trance with a very popbeat and they don't go together if you ask me.

 

Besides, I'm sick of all these wannabe dance songs too, it's been done.

Rated R was fantastic. This is ALSO fantastic. Not gonna lie, 2010 just became ever so slightly better.

lol 'Fireworks' rehash. I hate the bits where she goes "like I'm" over and over. Verses + Bridge = <3. Chorus = shouty, repetitive and unoriginal.

I wasnt keen on rated r, although I liked the singles apart from rude boy. good girl gone bad really shone for me though.
