I've given this album a good couple of listens now and overall, I'm really impressed! I love it! My favourite track on the whole album is 'Man Down'.. I just love the 'rum pu pu pum' bit she does! California King Bed and Cheers (Drink to That) are also standouts for me as well. Love the rocky edge to California King Bed!

 

Complicated and Raining Men haven't really clicked with me yet... they are OK, but compared to Man Down etc I'm not very keen on those tracks at all.

 

If I had to rank them...

 

Outstanding Tracks: Man Down, California King Bed and Cheers (Drink to That)

 

Good Tracks: S&M, Fading, What's My Name?, Skin, Love The Way You Lie Part 2

 

Average Tracks: Only Girl in The World, Complicated, Raining Men

 

I'm bored with Only Girl In The World now.. I think it's because it's been played so many times and I don't think it's one of her best songs.

 

Overall, I'd rank the album a healthy 8/10.

Went back up to #2 this week, selling 193k (!) bringing her total to 514k. Amazing!

I hope this can reach #1 during a quiet week next year! ^_^ most likely when 'S&M' is released :D

I could see it reaching #1 some time next year, it would be great if 'What's My Name?' reaches #1 in the first week of 2011 and 'Loud' did too!

Will easily get to #01 in early January I think. Think this might actually surpass Good Girl Gone Bad as her most successful era :o Which I never thought was possible. We'll see though, it's being handled MUCH better than 'Rated R' so far.

I was doing my xmas shopping at HMV today and I saw a lot of people buying 'Loud' :D :dancing:

Rihanna is so popular atm, my mum bought me loud in hmv! I'm not complaining S&M has not dropped out the top 100 on itunes... Please after this release Califronia King Bed or Love The Way You Lie Part 2.

LOUD sold 306k (!) this week, bringing its UK total to 820k and making it the 4th-best seller of the year.

Rated R is superior.

I can't believe this era's going so well for her, it's fantastic! Hopefully they keep up the good work, the album has potential to do even better, given the right support.
