August 31, 201015 yr The fact that Olly is at 8 with the B-side suggests this must be an issue with Epic ? The same thing happens with all of the JLS singles too and they are on the same label
August 31, 201015 yr Author If we get a dud update tomorrow with iTunes sales missing Radio 1 are going to use it again and Olly will be #1, come Sunday if Katy is #1 and Reggie will announce Katy as a new entry, we all know that Katy is definitely #2 from the iTunes update. I make out Train, Hoosiers, David Guetta, Pretty Reckless and Ellie Goulding have left the top 40 chart from last week. So that's 5 new entries from Olly [PDLMG], Pepper & Piano, Ash, Olly's (B-side or physical, which will be chart eligible), a re-entry for Adele.
August 31, 201015 yr iTunes data isn't missing, they've just missed out TD (songs are sometimes missing from the first mids), accidentally threw in a B-Side (happens sometimes, mostly with JLS :kink:) and Ash are always top 40 in the first mids, they start the week with enough physicals for a first-mid top 40 position. August 31, 201015 yr Author Everyone seems to be talking about Teenage Dream 'glitch' on the music forums. :o If there is a glitch with TD, that's where the problem lies, on that case iTunes data is not missing
August 31, 201015 yr Anyway, Everything Everything's album is top 10 :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: Shame it has no chance of holding it, I predict it'll drop to 27-35 :( Mumford & Sons set to re-peak again :cheer: They could go as high as #3 :o
August 31, 201015 yr Remember, by the way, they missed 'Gold Dust' during the midweeks of its first week but it appeared on the Radio 1 chart Weds update show anyway. Edited August 31, 201015 yr by Arrs
August 31, 201015 yr i know but she isn't even in the top 40 singles in the chart update haha hope they get it right tomorrow
August 31, 201015 yr There seems to be two versions of teenage dream in the itunes charts one at 2 and one at 18, maybe they've only counted the sales for one of the versions
August 31, 201015 yr SALES INFO Katy Perry has sold three times as many copies as Eminem in the albums. Olly has sold 46,000 singles - twice as many as Taio Source: Dan Wooton's (journalist) Twitter Edited August 31, 201015 yr by Andy87

August 31, 201015 yr Disturbed at No. 3, wow! :w00t: Apparently if they get it to No. 1 in America it'll have been four in a row.

August 31, 201015 yr Would be nice for Brandon to get another week in the top 10 but it has not fallen too much.
August 31, 201015 yr I think Olly is definitly safe for number 1 now, had also hoped brenadon flowers would be top 10 again this week but #11 is very respectable. Hope Kylie doesnt drop any lower than #37 in the albums come sunday, and good to see Biffy Clyro so high in the albums.
August 31, 201015 yr The OCC tell me that the Katy Perry Single is missing from the Mid Weeks due to an error - not theirs. They hope to have it corrected ASAP - probably by tomorrow. They assure me that the error does NOT involve any Sales of the 'Teenage Dream' Single being added to those of the 'Teenage Dream' Album. Also - They point out that the Mid Weeks are used - by them - to eradicate any errors by Sunday. They use them to 'Fine Tune' the Charts, if you like. They are not meant to be a 100% flawless representation of what may happen in the final Chart, on a Sunday. They look for errors in the Mid Weeks, & get rid of them in time for Sunday.
August 31, 201015 yr 46,000 for Olly Murs :o Wow big sales ! I like both songs, so I don't mind who goes to number 1 out of him and Katy Perry Although, this is probably his only chance of getting there, whereas Katy could climb in weeks to come
