It really has turned out even worse than I thought. I did think Radio would perhaps a bit unwilling at first due to Nadine's unjust bad press but I did think Radio 1 would eventually playlist it after Scott Mills interviewed her and everything. It had all the makings of a top 10 hit, and sure, the press were going to call her a flop anyway just because she wouldnt get to #1 and would sell lower than Cheryl and her just about above par record but that was an inevitability, it's now just going to be painful watching how she recovers from this.

I did think Not Myself Tonight-lite chart life if it did go all tits up (which it has) but the fact this is going to head in at #25 or whatever is just horrific. I have horrible thoughts as to how low the album will chart now.

I stopped really caring about the commercial success to be honest. I don't bother. All we know how hard she was working, we all know that the quality of most of the album songs is outstanding, we all know what powerful voice she has, and we enjoy the songs she put out. I hope she won't give up on the solo material after this single/album flops. It's the Sophie Ellis-Bextor situation all over again, the only (but major) differences are that she is getting loads of bad press (Sophie didn't get any) and that she is actually releasing the album next week (WELL, LET'S HOPE ha-ha!).
Ya the press really seem to have it in for nadine its constant negative reporting which is getting boring and annoying. Nadine has the talent its just a case where she needs to connect with the public and hopefully at some stage when over the radio stations.

LETS GET INSATIABLE INTO THE TOP 20

If we can then we can say the single went Top 20 in the UK and Ireland!?

Single today is at Number 24 with 8.7k sales (500 cds, 8.2k downloads)

Only four positions! to get in to the Top 20!

I want this to be Top 20 by SUNDAY

Can we all just give one great more push to get it up there!!!?

Wouldn't it be fab to kind of mute the haters a tad by getting it in Top 20..!!!!

On Monday we feared it would drop out of the top 40. We thought it would be hard to break the Top 30

and then the Top 25, now it's at 24! four more positions and we can get this TOP 20!

Get downloading everyone!!!!

Well I just bought it anyways, my credits will soon expire anyways.
Agree with Arrs. Like I already said, I'd rather have the song have a steady chartrun (like several weeks around #40) then #20-#73-out

It's gonna drop out quickly either way, I don't see why we shouldn't hope for a better peak position (even if it is now just gonna keep falling and probably end up at #27 on Sunday).
No Tesco near me had the single, not even the one I work in. :( I checked loads of local stores near me if they had them, and every time I asked the staff about it, they had no idea what I was talking about. :arrr:
I had hoped top 15 in Ireland but thankfully it managed top 20, she might have a good nd week in ireland as she was on the late late show on friday night although hopefully that will mainly boost the album.

You've actually been driving around all the stores in your region on a desperate search for a £1.99 CD single that you can download off I-tunes anyway?

Calm down people! It was to be expected. Lack of promo + lack of of airplay + lack of support from media and online + average song = commercial flop! My Tesco had loads of copies of the single. Still a tad optimistic about the album as i'm sure Tesco will push that, the same way they have with Peter Andres new album (which is looking to go top 10 isn't it?) , by giving it it's own sticker announcing it's "Tesco only" and stuff. They're more than likely wanting the album to do better than the single.
#26 this week.:( I was hoping for top 20, but I do think the album will go top 10... It's just a shame she's been handled so badly. ;(
Me to i was hoping she would scrape into the top 20 so its position is dispointing, im more worried how it will perform next week though, still at this stag eim just hoping the album can sell reasonably well next week and manage top 10 or higher.
