September 1, 201014 yr Author So i heard all of the three albums and i can now say that my favourite is probably Innocent Eyes, but it's so close between it and Mistaken Identity. Time will tell. Delta is obviously her most modern-sounding album but i just feel something is missing. I don't know if that makes sense. In This Life and Believe Again are incredible, it felt like i was still listening to Mistaken Identity when those tracks came. That said i'm very interested to hear what her new record(s) be like. VERY.
September 1, 201014 yr Innocent Eyes, although Mistaken Identity is also incredible - both make up my top two albums ever, if I could only listen to three albums for the rest of time it would be those two + Corrs' Talk On Corners. I agree Pavel, Delta had an amazing opening couple of tracks but then stepped into generic/bland territory in places and is nowhere near the quality of the first two. The non piano led Innocent Eyes tracks sound a bit dated now (I swear simple piano songs like Will You Fall For Me never age, how can a piano and voice ever sound dated?), but they're still fantastic. MI still sounds quite modern in comparison considering it was only released 18 months after.
September 1, 201014 yr Innocent Eyes is one of my top 10 all time fave albums. Why did you put a question mark next to Predictable, Throw It Away and A Year Ago Today in the singles rate then? :kink:
September 1, 201014 yr Why did you put a question mark next to Predictable, Throw It Away and A Year Ago Today in the singles rate then? :kink: Because I don't like them and don't want to rate her songs down :( ACTUALLY I do like Throw It Away I forgot I ended up liking it because I hated getting up to skip it when it bridged the singles together  Year Ago is awful
September 1, 201014 yr Shame :( I love all three. Predictable became better when she mashed it with Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics on her tour. Predictable was a #1 single in Australia and was revealed as being one of the top 40 biggest selling singles of the 00's there :o I don't know how much of that was down to the fact that it was a double a-side with her gorgeous cover of Happy Xmas (War Is Over) though.
September 1, 201014 yr Predictable Dreams>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Predictable.
September 4, 201014 yr Innocent Eyes  Mistaken Identity is also fantastic, but personally I find Delta (the album) weak
September 4, 201014 yr The first 3 tracks on the Delta album + Brave Face are as amazing as ever. The rest however was really sub par for her in my opinon. It has its highlights but most of the MI era b-sides (The Riddle/Silence Be Heard) were better than the majority of the album tracks on Delta. In fact, the In This Life b-side, Take Me Home was better than most of the album. It surely could have replaced Woman, Bare Hands, Angels In The Room or The Guardian?
September 5, 201014 yr I really should listen to Delta's albums. I've never disliked a song I've heard by her, so the album tracks would probably be quite pleasing to my ears too.
