Haha i remember posting couple days ago? that i hope Joe Mcelderrey(sp) doesn't get No.1. Not personally against the guy but a big F.U to Simon Cowell tryin to control the charts.

Well seeing the releases that week and KOL could very well get it. Radioactive is such a good tune and i love the video. Felt very nostalgic. :wub:

 

Pixie could also get top 5 with "Broken Arrow". Probably the only song of hers i could play over and over again.

A little unfair to Joe, I mean he does not represent Simon Cowell. He represents only Joe and I hope he does well and get another #1. Good luck to him! Attack Simon Cowell, not the artists.

 

To be fair, I am a little disappointed at the new KoL song. It's definitely not the same status as Use Somebody, which was amazing. I am having a problem with the diction and you can't really capture a melody from the song. I hope there are better materials from the album.

Usher should jump quite a bit then now he's @ #10 - probably up to about #6/7.

 

Should also get top 10 on the official charts next week (too late for him next week) as I can't see enough new releases getting top 10 to knock him out (assumign he clibms to #6/7 by Sunday).

Back from my holidays and interesting to see the changes on iTunes. Alexandra still #1 as she was on Monday morning. The Script have benefitted. Wasn't expecting Usher to end up in the top 10 - thought it would stall in the 11-15 region of iTunes.

 

Obviously The XX have benefitted massively from their Mercury Music Prize win. Still hoped Mumford & Sons could've won but what you gonna do? :P

 

Also pleased to see Hurts 'Wonderful Life' has returned to the top 30 after its 21-33 drop last week. Would be ace if the track became a slow burning big hit.

Very shocked at Usher he can do no wrong in the UK charts these days.Hope he is a contender for No 1 next week, he was removed from the playlist this week.

Cannot understand why Drummer Boy has done so badly, she fitted in alot of promotion this week.Hope Alex can hold off The Script.

He won't have a chance at #1 - he might get nicely into the lower half of the top 10 in iTunes / the official chart next week, but I really can't see him getting above #5 and certainly not to #1.

 

Alesha has done badly as the song is awful, I'm not surprised it is going to debut outside the top 10 and probably closer to #15 actually. I think it'll drop like a stone - she needed to come back with something catchier, a la TBDN.

Why do i get the feeling Shontelle is going to do better than people think? (which actually probably means shes going to do so much more worse than i think haha)
