The Manics have been number 1 five times in the first midweek flashes. Only managed to hang on twice.

 

Of course, that *was* back when physical sales actually mattered...

 

We've just seen with McFly how acts reliant on them come unstuck nowadays, and MSP have had far less publicity for this release - not to mention evn fewer downloads...
