September 21, 201015 yr Lol at SWY dropping now. How random that it managed to cling on to the top spot that second week... Pretty uneventful week for me, really. I hope Katy Perry can jump to #2 by the end of the week :)
September 21, 201015 yr I remember that Nothin' On You almost dropped 1-8, but Gettin' Over You narrowly beat it, so it went 2-8 instead. I wonder if Alexandra will get lower than 6 on Sunday.

If Alex Gaudino gets top-10 in iTunes (in which I'm pretty sure looking at the dynamics, dance songs trends and the current pop-bars) he'll get quite a good boost. Maybe he will have legs to push Alex down to #7. 1% possibility of Shontelle overtaking her too. I can't see anything else beating her this week unless she falls further massively or some random track comes out from nowhere and gets a huge lead.
September 21, 201015 yr How the hell is Katy #4 and Taio #3?? I just dont f****** get it.
September 21, 201015 yr How the hell is Katy #4 and Taio #3?? I just dont f****** get it.    I think it might be cos he's selling more copies than her :P
September 21, 201015 yr Didn't expect Mcfly to fall so far but i think their next single could make Number 1 It's being filmed today and is LIVE on their site and the best part is it's a duet with Taio
September 21, 201015 yr How the hell is Katy #4 and Taio #3?? I just dont f****** get it.    I know the single version of Katy's song is always higher than Taio's on iTunes, but there's the remixes, album and compilation versions to factor in, plus other download sites, and Dynamite might have physicals. September 21, 201015 yr Taio's deluxe is out hence cherry-picking. Even without them he was at #2 last week despite being seemingly lower in iTunes. 'Teenage Dream's time is going away, slowly - but going. Time to move on to the new releases. B) (yes, Buzzjack's multichart, time to move on to the new releases). Oh, and where are Linkin Park in the albums today? :) Edited September 21, 201015 yr by Arrs
September 21, 201015 yr How the hell is Katy #4 and Taio #3?? I just dont f****** get it.    he has physicals, she doesnt- thats a start, her not having physicals also stopped her from getting number 1 and as Arrs has said, Taio has more versions so combined, he would be ahead anyway, I hope the Manics get number 1 album this week, and I hope Linkin Park havent fallen to much- and I also hope Alex Gaudino can climb into the top 10, and lol at a certain other Alex's drop- looks like its second week was purely by default and it should carry on the trend of number 1s dropping fast
September 21, 201015 yr Even without physicals Taio would be #3: in last week's digital chart he was at #2 and Katy was at #3, just like in the officials. By the way, McFly were at #16 digitally last week, physicals gave them three extra places in the official chart. Edited September 21, 201015 yr by Arrs
September 21, 201015 yr Didn't expect Mcfly to fall so far but i think their next single could make Number 1 If the *first* from the album couldn't, then there's no way the next will. Face it, 40k just doesn't cut it in the #1 stakes nowadays... Edited September 21, 201015 yr by vidcapper
September 21, 201015 yr If the *first* from the album couldn't, then there's no way the next will. Face it, 40k just doesn't cut it in the #1 stakes nowadays...how do you know can you see into the future? The song it self is catchy and it's got the old Mcfly sound mixed with the new dance sound and also Taio Cruz is singing too. Im not that bothered about Number 1's much anymore however i think it stands a good chance and allthough Party girl has fallen quickly this week it's still sold better then some of their songs. 'Shine a Light' is the first single to be released from their super site which has it's own download and CD shop so fans can buy the track a lot easier and no longer needs the likes of HMV but the CD will still be on sale at HMV and Download via I tunes too. Unlike alot of their past singles party girl didn't have loads of downloads onsale and still did ok Edited September 21, 201015 yr by itsme123

September 21, 201015 yr I expected a fall for Brandon in singles and albums this week, glad its not big ones.
September 21, 201015 yr Disappointed Pendulum aren't top 40... hope they can climb in although it looks doubtful
September 21, 201015 yr Didn't expect Mcfly to fall so far but i think their next single could make Number 1 It's being filmed today and is LIVE on their site and the best part is it's a duet with Taio It's brilliant isn't it! A million times better than Party Girl! I reckon if they had released it as the lead single instead of Party Girl it would have been a surefire Number 1.
