Just listened to the new album track "The End of the World". Brilliant! Much better than Party Girl/ Shine a Light.
Along with the Album 'Shine a light' will be given away free on their new website as a download days before the official release!
lol do people still listen to McFly? :/

I'd like to hear this live, I'm a little confused by the lack of guitar sound. Love the tune though!! It seems like a good choice for collaboration on both sides, can't wait till it's out!

P.S. As soon as someone starts a McFly related topic I expect Josh to come there and slag them off. I can't imagine why would anyone bother to go purposely to the topic you don't like and comment on it. Strange.

this is such a grower. unlike 'party girl', which got boring quite quickly for me, however I do normally prefer the ballady kind of stuff they do, so that could be why I love this now.

Yes. As expected. This has grown!

Taio is really at the top of his game at the moment. Really glad to see he is FINALLY getting the much deserved success he seems to be getting. McFly are pretty great recently too. I prefer this to 'Party Girl' actually.

This is actually fantastic! McFly went back to their glory days with this.

Plus, Taio can make this a big hit. Let's wait and see.

anyone got a hq/cdq of this? the one I keep finding has a weird transition at the end.

The End of the world is amazing live and think it's the rockiest track they have done.

Went to see them at one of their 5 preview shows last night 'Before the Noise Tour' and they were brilliant and i also noticed very few young fans

it was kind of spot the 13 year old game as most looked 15+

Im not sure why Mcfly are NOT promoting 'shine a Light' and even on the tour they are not saying it's the next single

Wow, I love this! I mean, it could be a Taio Cruz song because it's absolutely nothing like McFly's usual output and even far removed from 'Party Girl', but it's very current and probably one of their best. I love the video too.

Most of their album is different from their usual Output.

They are having a mini tour where they are previewing the new album and not only does the songs go downwell but everything has a different sound.

They performed it without Taio last night and it sounded brilliant

Mcfly have still done no promotion for the single and seem to be cutting it fine

They FINALLY, have some promo ( but still may not be enough!)

05 Nov 2010 Performing 'Shine A Light' Paul O'Grady Live, ITV1

10 Nov 2010 Performing 'Shine A Light' Daybreak, ITV1

15 Nov 2010 Performing 'Shine A Light' Loose Women, ITV1

Apart from From Paul O'Grady, I dont think these programmes have enough viewers to do them any serious promo?

Had there been alot of promotion i think this single could do very well.

Loose Women get's over a million viewers so thats not bad promotion but Daybreak is pointless as it's rating under 500,000 viewers most of the time
