I think the fact that 'Heartbeat' has gone top 10 shows that Enrique is still marketable despite being 5 years away from 40 (who would have thought it? - he doesn't look a day over 25 :o).

 

It's also very impressive when taking into consideration that Kylie's second single can't even go top 30 on iTunes.

I've bought 'Creep' today. Really haven't acknowledged it until last night on XF. It is a really old song though tbf.

 

I'm contemplating buying 'We No Speak Americano' now. It's grown on me loads and it'd make a great ringtone.

 

 

'Ill Behaviour' is speeding up! #104 now. Maybe it will still go top-40?

To be fair though Enrique always returns every now and again and has a big hit that radio lap it and is pretty damn catchy.

I mean I thought he was over after 2004 time then he had The Ping Pong Song and then I Like It three years later [i don't count TBML with Ciara as it was from a Greatest Hits].

 

Also I don't think the current song would be doing half as well as it is if it wasn't performed on TV and was being released round about the time Nicole Scherzinger is on The X Factor.

 

I'm not bashing him as I think he's brilliant and it is quite amazing that he can keep coming back.

Heartbeat is so catchy, it would be doing well just on support of radio & TV, its just one of those songs.

Also helps they are two of the best looking pop stars working together..

Obviously promotion helps, all songs need some live performances to gain sales, its the normal thing. Also at least they performed very well live, good voices.

Uk radio especially radio 1 will eat up "Just a Dream" i predict top 3 atleast. And hopefully he'll come over to promote it. Thanks for the links anyway. And diana's last single flopped so im not worried about her.

 

Tinchy,Mike and Shaynes new releases are the real competition.

The charts are going to get a lot more competitive starting october, very competitive indeed! :lol:
