Good. :D 'Just The Way You Are' is a brilliant track compared to the forgettable 'Let The Sun Shine'. Anyways, this week it's all about Tinie - something I thought I'd never think. Interestingly, I didn't realise Labrinth had produced 'Pass Out' and 'Frisky'. Who produced 'Written In The Stars'? Whoever it was, they've done a great job giving the backing music some depth and atmosphere.

I agree about Let The Sunshine, very middling song

Ishi produced WITS, as already answered and yeah, Im surprised how much I love it- it sounds really anthemic  :o

We're on Wednesday and Adele is holding surprisingly well :o

It should definitely be a top 10 hit for, which is great news.

The X Factor tracks have always held up better than the MBTM tracks - hence why Adele won't "do an Emma" this week.

It's more a question of whether Adele can stay top 5 - I think she could just about stay in there to be honest! Probably 6-8 is more likely though (as Taio, Katy and probably The Script are likely to overtake her by Sunday, Enrique might as well)

PREACH-this is so true not sure why Labrinth saved his better songs for Tinie but Let the Sunshine is a bit of a snooze.I can see the Top 10 next week being all male other than Katy.Enrique may go Top 5, no Top 10 for Alex G and Ke$hs which is a shame and Shontelle and Alex B stop dropping.

I reckon only Taio can overtake Adele by the end of the week so #5 at the minimum like you say - the others are download only and Adele has had a near-50% lead on them on iTunes for the first half of the week so that would need to be reversed by a 50% deficit for the remaining half of the week - yet we're mid-way through Wednesday and she's still ahead of Katy by approx 30%.

Only other thing is other download sites - where is Adele on those?

let the sun shine >>>>>>>>x1million Just the way you are :(

Agreed. Hopefully Labrinth manages to stay at number 2 for the Official Chart

I am happy that 60% of the top 10 is British. And next week hopefully higher with Robbie/Gary and Magnetic Man with Katy B. I am loving this dubstep music; so nice to have a new, fresh sound on the UK charts.

it's al sooooo close between 10-22 on the itunes chart !!!
Since when was 'Cooler Than Me' released? It's at #97.

Mike's album was released digitally here ages ago

Ugh, I hope it's not too big a hit, it's seriously awful :(

Hope Charice can stay at least this extra week in the charts -_- Good for Adele, shows how everyone wants something new from her!

Danny Byrd now #31! Wombats up a bit too, now #16. Kylie is #32 & 106.

And basically with this week we are going into the final quarter of 2010. And... I expect one chart battle after another. We thought about 3 death weeks, but on 24th October there is Cheryl vs. Rihanna, on 31st October it's erm... Roll Deep vs. Nadine vs. Ne-Yo vs. Tinchy vs. McFly vs. Saturdays among others. I guess some of those releases will be pushed back/forward as it's too crazy to have so many big names on 31st Oct. Imagine Ne-Yo not getting top-10 with the lead single.

Ne-Yo already got #1 with his lead single...

Wasn't 'Beautiful Monster' the lead single? Or is it so forgettable (non no. 1 :kink: ) that even you have already forgotton the song exsists.

As for the "death weeks", I often think these are blown slightly out of proportion. Roll Deep vs. Nadine vs. Ne-Yo vs. Tinchy vs. McFly vs. Saturdays. Already I can only see two definites; Roll Deep and Nadine. Tinchy was #10 with 'In My System' so this new single would have to be excellent for Tinchy to outpeak his last single. McFly may go low top 10 with physicals on their side but Kylie might miss the top 10 this Sunday so McFly could also fall short. The Saturdays are on iTunes now but stalling - surely if 'Higher' was so popular it'd be selling like hot cakes now rather than in 4 weeks time. It's not like a video hasn't been released. I suspect The Sats will have already peaked by this particular week.

Of course I could be completely wrong and McFly end up #1. :P

Are Tinchy and McFly really released in the same week? Both songs feature Taio Cruz
